Except that since the KVS tool shows OW award inventory from Qantas's point of view, which may or may not be diffrent then what award inventory BA or AA shows Asiamiles. Your going to have to contact Asiamiles directly as that is the only way to ensure OW partner awards from Asiamiles's POV are available.

That is irrelevant, unless one is searching for QF award availability (in which case there may be situations, where the QF FFP availability shown will exceed QF OneWorld availability, and even that is relatively rare).

For OneWorld award availability (on all supported carriers except QF), this is not a relevant factor.

Sorry if this has been asked before but any chance of showing LX *A availability in the future?

As always love your software. ^^

In the interim, sign up for Miles & More via the Jetfriends kids program and you can search LX award space without miles in your account.

Will do. Thanks.

Absolutely -- LX awards availability is coming in 2010!

Until then, gleff's suggestion is the way to go.

NICE. ^^ This is currently one of only 2-3 things I regularly use Expertflyer for.

Can I use the KVS Tool to see what days a UAL W fare and NC space are available for a particular flight number/city pair?
My current system of ITAsoftware and .bomb sort of sucks.

Thanks to one of the FlyerTalkers for sending me a screenshot. Unfortunately it's like the screenshots on the website.

I'm more looking for a tool that lets me write a query (airline UA from XXX to YYY with one stop, second segment on equipment ZZZZ or WWWW, W fare available, NC available on second segment, date range 5/1/2010-6/30/2010) and will display a list or calendar of matching flights rather than slogging through the dates one by one and visually inspecting the results. Unfortunately I don't think such a tool is available to mere mortals. matrix.itasoftware.com comes so close except for the NC bit.

Wrong. You obviously have no understanding of how fare buckets work. This just means that there are at least 9 seats to sell in each of the fare buckets shown. The fare buckets don't all represent separate seats. There could theoretically be as few as 9 total seats to sell on this flight. And considering that most airlines oversell their flights, here could be even fewer "empty" seats.

I'm sorry for my stupidity.

I need to use Asiamiles on OW carriers (namely BA / AA). BA/AA buckets for their airlines is what Asiamiles would take award tickets out of, right?

As a result, a platinum membership would get me this information? Many thanks

Yes, assuming you also sign up for a QF reward account. Or you could just sign up for the QF account and search directly through it rather than through the KVS interface.

I think the WorldSpan Operational Info is down now. Also is it possible to add the Sabre Operational Info soon?

JIMCHI Jan 3, 2010 7:52 pm

Yes, Worldspan seems to be down. I agree-- having Sabre operational info at least for AA flights would be great. Can you add this ??

hamrtyme Jan 5, 2010 9:34 pm

forgive my inexperience but does KVS tool let you book flights? or just see everything about them?
thanks
