I'm still not getting Sabre availability - even after the upgrade to 5.1.2.

[KVS Availability Tool 5.1.2/Diamond - ORT: Awards/SkyTeam/US-NWA]

V5.1.2 resolved an issue with [ORT: Awards/SkyTeam].

[Sabre: Availability/GTR] Method is currently unavailable -- please use [Galileo: ETR] in the meantime.

And using Apollo or WSpan is *very* misleading, regarding SQ bucket availability...

Can't seem to get the tool to work today. I'm getting a "cannot connect [12029]" message and the tool website kvstool.com also seems to be down. Any hints on how to fix this?

Edit: Appears to have resolved itself now - website up and running again

Must have been a transient issue with the server and/or your ISP/connection...

New and improved (with carrier selection in the request) Sabre is coming soon ;)

Sabre back up. (working with 5.1.2)

Version 5.1.2 not working / extremely show
 

I installed version 5.1.2 on my desktop PC and now the tool is not working anymore. It tries to authenticate for a couple of minutes and then I get a message "[9001] Time-Out requesting Data Requesting [WDC-AUTH] [1W]".

I then click "Register" and after half a minute or so I am in the application. But then every request takes many minutes and sometimes produces an error message.

No issues at all with my notebook which is still on 5.1.1

This is an issue with your local system -- pls see http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Errors under ""Error Requesting Data: (Various)" after upgrading to the latest version".

Problem solved
 

Changing the internet / antvirus / firewall settings did not resolve the issue. But after a restart of my computer everything is working fine...

Question about availability and standby ticketing
 

Hello everybody,

My girlfriend is about to fly standby on Lufthansa from Athens, Greece to JAX. I would like to know if any of you is familiar with this type of tickets and what happens if the flight is full. The itinerary we are thinkikng of is ATH-FRA-ORD-JAX on the 19th or 20th of October. The flights that would be the best schedule-wise are:
ATH-FRA LH 3385
FRA-ORD LH430
FRA-JAX LH9224 (Codeshare with UA)

Can you please let me know the loads of these flights as well as any information on standby tickets because it'll be the first time she does it. If the flight is full do they reaccomodate you in another flight via another routing or this is impossible?

If the flight is full, then nothing happens -- you stay behind for hours/days/weeks/etc. until there is space or until you decide to purchase a revenue ticket :).

Which airline does your GF work for? She really should be contacting the appropriate department within that airline regarding ticket validity, routings, etc.

Nobody will "reaccomodate" a non-rev PAX, she has to re-accomodate herself.

When doing fare searches if you click on Fare Rules Summary WSPAN
u get the following error

Error Retreiving Fare Rules
"Emulation Failed"

View Fare Rules (not summary) is OK.
