Seat Maps: we're currently not able to show seat maps for flights departing within the next 24 hours for several airlines: DL, BA, QR , ANA, B6, & JL
Searches currently not working:
- Upgrades - AY, BA, EK, EY, IB, QR, VS
- Awards - AY, BA, IB, EY, QR, VS
To search AA upgrades:
- Use the Award & Upgrade tool
- Only search for individual segments (set the "Connection Preference" drop-down to "Direct/Non-Stop only"). Flight results that are part of a connection won't show the upgrade version of C or A inventory because AA only files upgrade inventory as individual, not married, segments. (Married segments show revenue inventory instead of upgrade inventory.)
- To avoid confusion, check the "Exclude Codeshares" box, as AA awards and upgrades are not valid on codeshares.

Hi ExpertFlyer Voice - QSR has disappeared again from the system with the new upgrade, mind adding it back in?

Update:
- We are working on the QF seat map issue that some of you have reported where we are showing blocked seats as occupied. Our target is to have a solution in place before EOW.
- We are also finishing up the work to show missing Flight Availability results on some routes. ETA is EOD tomorrow.
- Currently investigating the 404 and the 500 errors reported.

Also: ExpertyFlyer Voice ...
Your signature links to Blog.expertflyer.com which redirects to a 404 on 404 Error ...
It might be a good idea to actually get some simple site up which has a list of known issues and a changelog showing when issues have been resolved ... or just update your signature to remove that broken link

Update:
I found I still had a session reporting the 500 error. The system runs ubuntu linux 24.04 and chromium (not Chrome form Google). I went into inspect mode and force the deletion of all expertflyer.com cookies and the 500 went away. So I suspect there is some stale state data left in your application causing this.

I get the impression it’s all Amadeus based airlines that are having issues with Seatmaps. AY for example also doesn’t work, plus there are already reported issues with BA and LH.
Amadeus has a set of APIs that are available - to make it truly an expert tool, perhaps they could implement additional GDS access for an additional tier on top? Say connections to not only Sabre, but also Amadeus and or Galilieo?

Hi -
I have a lot of flexibility when I travel. I used EF to look for filed fares for all dates and not just the queried travel dates. It was a simple box to check and every fare came back, sorted by price (or carrier if the carrier box had an airline in it) with two fields listing the beginning and end dates for a fare.
Can anyone tell me how to find that functionality in the new UI?
