Booked a room at the HR ORD/Rosemont with points using the app in anticipation of bad weather this week without an issue. Subsequently cancelled the reservation using the app and had the points back almost instantly. IMO, the app seems to work better than the website. It can be a little quirky at times, but still seems better than the website.

Hyatt.com PATHETIC...from newly matched Diamond
Geez, newly matched Diamond here. Tried logging into hyatt.com and it either doesn't let me...or after several tries, lets me log in and then the moment I try to look up anything, it logs me out again and/or indicates "Session Timeout" for no good reason.
Unbelievable. I can't make any new reservation or reivew any of my existing reservations.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Reading the comments here, I can see this isn't a new phenomenon. The fact that Hyatt.com was down for 3 full days in Dec 2015 isn't reassuring, either.

Pathetic? Dysfunctional? Total debacle? I am a lowly Plat that begged and begged to get the free Diamond and was told (not in these words) to go to hades. But that's another story...

Is anyone able to re-link their GP and mLife accounts right now? The link seems to expire on Jan 1st. When I try to relink from the www.hyatt.com/mlife the "optin" url has "partner_token=undefined" in it (yes, I'm signed in). If I go to https://www.mlife.com/pages/preferred_partners.html and click the "unlock" it takes me to a Hyatt page (where the url has a proper "partner_token"), but when I click "Opt-in", I get an error that says:
I called Hyatt GP - the agent said she could manually link it. She put me on hold for about 10 minutes and said it was done, but mLife still shows as Pearl.
I remember this being pretty wonky last year too - I tried 3 different browsers before I finally got it to work. When it worked, the new mLife status was reflected immediately.
Is this broken for anyone else? Anyone have any ideas to get it to work?

Website is slow today, and I have gotten timeout errors when trying to book a room. Happy New Year, I guess.

For anyone else having this issue call mLife Member Services at 866.761.7111, option 5 (partners), option 1 (Hyatt). Give them your mLife#, your Hyatt#, and wait about 2 minutes.
