I've been getting this issue too. I tried to just see hotel availability and it gave me that error.

I just keep refreshing until I get my confirmation page and then click send. That and the timed out error are common Hyatt IT bugs.

I've had some problems booking a property when there are too many rate plans (packages), the page won't even display the rates. On Sunday I was able to book via the app. But yesterday, the app won't let me book because of credit card issues (the profile still has the credit card info saved and CS was able to use credit card saved). Net yesterday had to call in the reservation because of the IT issues.

Having similar issues with both the site and CC. I was looking to book a stay in Paris, and after entering the location (Paris, France).. I kept receiving a msg 'no properties found'. When I was finally able to get the site to work, and booked a non refundable rate with my cc on file, the next day I got an email msg from the property that my Amex card was rejected and to contact them immediately with a new card or I'd lose my reservation. I called Amex, they told me there was no problem and my card was good. I then called Hyatt who said I had to re-enter my cc info on HGP. I tried doing it, but kept getting a msg that 'card could not be saved' and to use another one. Called Hyatt back, explained the issues, they had Paris Etoile contact me directly and using the same Amex reinstated by reservation.

Getting "Invalid chain code" message on almost every search. Happens with both Chrome and IE browsers.

Still broken for me - been almost a week since I could make a reservation on line. Anyone else seeing this outage? I can see my account, see reservations and reservation details, can even get a list of hotels in a city as long as I haven't input any dates - but as soon as I put a date search parameter, it blows up.

That's quite odd. I can make bookings at will and search properties. I just get the timed out message sometimes. or the site is totally down.

Thanks for the feedback, Aventine. Made me assume it was something specific to me - so tried a browser (Firefox) I haven't used in months. Worked fine; so I cleared my Chrome and IE caches and back to normal. Must have been something in one of the Hyatt cookies that choked the server response...

Yes, I had the same problem and it was a bad cookie. Clearing it solved the problem.

FYI, in the future if this happens, use m.hyatt.com instead. it isn't pretty, but it works just fine on a desktop computer.

I've been trying to cancel a reservation today. I click 'cancel' and then I get this message:


240 - Invalid credit card expiration date (likely past today).

If that were true (which it isn't), it's not particularly relevant for a cancelation.
