I can't access them at all either. I've tried calling, tweeting, nobody gives a crap.

I've been able to generate the temporary password from the "Forgot your password" link, it sends the temp password. When I try it I get sent to a 2nd page that asks me to put in my new password. When I do, I get sent to yet another page that asks for the temp password, plus my new password. This is the point it gets stuck at. I never get in. Nobody can tell me anything.

I have a feeling that they migrated to a new server and lost some of the accounts. Any IT people out there? What do you think it is?

I will say this - this has really changed my overall perception of this company.

Strange- I've had no problem accessing my account or checking rates all day today. Recent stay hasn't posted but someone else said they wouldn't post until after the 28th.

I'm in IT. Might be a cookies problem, but since Hyatt IT is so dysfunctional it might just be their problem.

I managed to get myself 'Locked Out' from entering the correct password and clicking multiple times to login only to get an Internal server error. Then I forced a password reset to 'reset' their database and reset the 'new' password to my old one...then bam everything suddenly works.

Amazing.

Also try logging in with your GP number instead of username if you weren't doing this before. Seems to work for me.

I clean all cookies routinely. Also I've tried with different browsers, operating systems, and computers. I've been trying with my GP number. Thanks anyway though.

In that case it seems to be account specific...go figure.

When everyone posted here that they could access their account after the 'maintenance' I wasn't able to until about 10 hours ago.

Working in the IT field its a disaster to put your site offline for nearly 5 days on some sort of maintenance. Usually our servers have an uptime of nearly 1 year with no downtime, or minimal (partial service reboots).

I've also noticed that every BLOGGER has had no problem whatsoever.

I have been trying to cancel a reservation for about 3 weeks. I continually get the message that I have an "invalid" credit card expiration date. I still have a month to go, so it's kind of an exercise, at this point, to see how long it takes.

I've been able to make one reservation (with a non-Hyatt chase card). The system thinks my Chase card has expired. It still has a couple of years to go.

Now, however, it won't let me make any reservations (though, on most days, the rates do show up).

All my reservations show up and my GP account seems to be accurate.

Are you trying to making this booking for March or later? If so, read http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hyatt...on-date-2.html to see why you may require some special assistance that not all staff may be up to speed on.

Yet resolved

I am facing similar situation that I am not able to log in GP website so generated the temporary password from the link. Then proceeded to SET PASSWORD but got stuck with "An unexpected error has occurred while attempting to process your request. Please try again later. For assistance, please contact Hyatt Gold Passport Customer Service at 1-800-30-HYATT or your nearest Worldwide Reservation Center".

I called the center this Mon and agent informed me there are number of victims so please wait until they got firm solution. So far no updates so anybody who got an updates or information?

The company said Wednesday that it is investigating malware it found on computers used to process customers' payments, and Hyatt (H) is consulting with cyber security experts.

No idea whether this is a separate problem or part of the problem. At any rate, sounds like things are a mess.

Ok so now the cat is out of the bag and we know they got hacked. I wish they told us that sooner. I only use one specific credit card to pay for Hyatt stays and I will have to keep an eye on that account.

Who are the people managing Hyatt? MY gosh! Look at their mobile App, it has been there for months and it NEVER WORKS. You can't log in and if you can, you can't book awards or any reservation. It gives you error message.
