I just called Hyatt about the failed password error on the web page and the phone app. They said they did an update last night and some user accoutns password got reset, you just need to click the forgot password button and then get a new one. I'm all good now since then doing that.

+1 - and Hyatt tech strikes again, sounds like in their system update they didn't bring over the password field. Anyone out there, that didn't need to have their password reset. I'm beginning to think that the tech department is either headed by a Pritzker or someone close to them, I really can't believe that the competence level would be tolerated otherwise.

Glad I looked here because I had no clue what was up and was actually wondering if someone had hacked my account. I reset the password.
I have seen a lot of wacky IT stuff, but I have never seen this particular issue.

So I can't make reservations, I can't change reservations, I can't change reservations, I cannot check my account...
In effect Hyatt Gold Passport and all Hyatt hotels worldwide have ceased to exist!!!!
A condition that has continued for at least 6 hours!
You have to wonder where they source their IT. Yemen perhaps?

Has anyone had major issues with logging in lately? Maybe 6 months ago, I often would have to login twice and then I could access everything in my account.
In the last week even after I login, anything I click on brings me to a new login page (change address, view profile, view account, view reservations). And after that I go into a loop of logins which I NEVER seem to be able to access my account.
Am I the only one?

Right now, I got this:

You don't have permission to access /gp/en/account/sign_in.jsp on this server.

Not only is there the login password reset-related issue, there is also a creaky reservation booking problem on Hyatt.com.
I've been trying to cancel and make new bookings, but the system feels like I'm dialing up on a 2800bps modem back in the early 1990s and having repeated handshake drops.

Hi All,
Apparently Gold Passport decided to demand that all users change their password for greater security
Unfortunately they decided to not inform their membership base

Perhaps all in the name of greater security
Many global websites have been hacked or had some form of security issues and this is Hyatt's way of dealing with it from what I understand

It would be nice if they would let us use symbols such as * in passwords.
