I just called Hyatt about the failed password error on the web page and the phone app. They said they did an update last night and some user accoutns password got reset, you just need to click the forgot password button and then get a new one. I'm all good now since then doing that.
I have multiple (myself and family) Hyatt accounts and all got the login issue this morning. They can say
some accounts but it definitely seems like
all Hyatt accounts were affected. Major PITA ..
