All Hyatt web sites down tonight. I had so many troubles with them today, kept getting Roomkey popup on the IPad when I would click on the details for any property I searched...ie Room descriptions, dining etc. it was a nightmare!
Also I noticed that the room descriptions have started changing for the various room types at a property...different font, different format...they also no longer show the max people per room which is something I need to know on advance when booking rooms for 3 people.

"Hyatt.com, GoldPassport.com, HyattPlace.com, HyattHouse.com, Andaz.com and HyattResidenceClub.com are currently down for maintenance.
During this maintenance period, please click on the link below to contact our call center to book or modify a reservation"

Yeah, Roomkey script is running wild... Normally it's an annoyance, now an ever bigger one.

You can avoid it by opening the link in a new tab.

Looks like the duct tape and chewing gum on the website fell apart again. Can't log in at all - 2 browsers and mobile.

OK, totally off-topic, but initially I thought the e-mail notification of this post was a response to my e-mail to Hilton web support about me not being able to create a username and password and cracked up that their tech rep would say that.

Made a reservation yesterday and requested to use a DSU. Was told that I would receive a confirmation email within 2 hours if the DSU went through.

8 hours later and no email at all from anyone. I called to find out if the DSU was approved and to see what happened to my email.

They were perplexed that I hadn't received anything and sent me another, showing the DSU.

I think the website was FUBARd yesterday.

It's not an isolated incident. The system has been messed up for quite a long time.

When I've used DSUs during the past year it sometimes takes a day before the confirmation email arrives. Sometimes it doesn't arrive and I have to call for verification.

The most recent one I used resulted in a series of emails showing that my room had indeed been rebooked into a suite -- at the full prevailing rate.

Gold Passport has hired a new ad agency.

Gold Passport does not run hyatt.com, and even if they did, the ad agency wouldn't be in charge of overhauling the website. Nothing to see here.

The last couple of days I have had a problem with the calendar and map not working on hyatt.com. Has anyone else had a problem or is it just me?

In the past couples of days I've had problems with links NOT working with in the hotel websites, for example links to special offers, links to dinning. It's got to be one of the wost websites, it's really makes planning a trip difficult at times.

I've been trying to get a P+C reservation at the Hyatt Regency Osaka during a sold-out day for about a week now, checking the site very frequently. 99.9% of the time it remains nothing but Guaranteed Availability; however, on two occasions I have seen full availability of all rooms show up. But by the time I call Hyatt to make the booking, all of availability is gone again.

I find it highly unlikely that so many rooms were filled so quickly on two separate occasions. Is this some kind of glitch in the matrix, or some kind of "flash availability" for the third party sites to receive price information? Whatever it is, it's very frustrating.

EDIT: Third time's the charm! The room stayed available over 30 minutes, long enough to get the P+C reservation and apply a DSU to it!

I was trying to book using hyatt points, but after I checked the "Show Hyatt Gold Passport Points" box, the website froze..... I tried using IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, but same problem with booking with points.... this only started recently... am I the only one who has the problem?
