A big fat :td::td::td: to Lenovo. I went to bed last night and my Stinkpad was downloading something. Woke up this morning to a blue screen. Power cycled now I get nothing. From what I've been able to find, it's a dead BIOS.

If anyone actually wants to buy one of these I've got a discount that might be worthwhile. PM me.

I wonder why he didn't stay at the Lost Pines Resort?!

I met someone on the parking shuttle last night who was moving to IAH after living in PHL and remembered you were doing the same. You didn't happen to be on the Fast Park & Relax bus did you? ;)

Who knows but I pass it every time I drive up to AUS to catch a cheaper flight! :D

Though, from what I remember, US's 752s are the eight-door versions (without overwing exits) and CO's are the ten-door version.

And, really, would any of us really want to set foot on a plane that at one point was a US plane? :)

I honestly don't think CO needs anymore narrow bodies. Sure, it would be great for us, but their real shortage is wide bodies.

Are HP's ten-door versions?

I do agree that they need more wide bodies, maybe they'll bring back transcons in a wide body.

I was attempting to flatten and reinstall the OS on one of my machines at home and it hands me a lovely BSoD after format due to an NTFS failure; looks like the hard drive has crapped out. A throughly frustrating day.

FWIW: I took flight segment #90 this morning... Plat now through Feb 2010 once that clears.

Somewhere my life spiraled out of control. It has been mentioned that it started the day I found flyertalk.com.

;)

FT is not the place to go to treat a travel addiction.

Luckily no one here has an addiction.

Not me. I'm planning on moving at the end of this month.

w/r/t = "with regard to"

I wish AA would match, rather than challenge. Now that they charge all those debundled fees to non-elites, the value of a challenge is significantly degraded...

Thanks Hartmann!

This reminds me of a question for The Box. I'm renting from National at SEA and driving up to YVR. Do I need to tell National about my plans to go into Canada? I've read that it is good to carry a copy of the rental agreement when crossing into Canada - is this something I can ask for at the exit booth when taking the car off the lot (I'm ES)? Any other suggestions?

Eight door w/ RR engines. (Worthless trivia time). Many were orginally the old Republic Airlines planes, some delivered in Northwest paint scheme and interiors but with a white tail and Republic instead of Northwest then quickly changed to full NW once the merger cleared. NW got rid of them because of the different engines from their then growing 757 fleet. (end of worthless trivia)

When I drove up there in June, they told me all I needed was the rental agreement (that green and black hang-tag thingy on the rear-view mirror). Granted, I doubt the counter rep had any background in insurance law, conflict of laws, or Canadian law. I did have a great time in Vancouver, though. :D
