So actually I have an Iphone Box until we go to the store and get one .
But she said if I did not want to switch to ATT , she would buy me something else.
I currently have service with T-mobile , so I have to decide what to do .
I looked into unlocking the 3g iphone but i heard a rumor that if you cancel the ATT service after activation, you not only pay the fee , but you must return the phone to them.

and good luck to CM also

If you do decide to get a 3g Iphone and unlock it, the 3g part won't work w/ T-Mobile's 3g service. They use different frequencies for their 3g service. You'd be using the slower (like dial-up) GPRS/Edge speed. I want an Iphone 3g as well, but would like it to work w/ T-Mobile's 3g service.

OMG that's one of the saddest looking airline meals I've ever seen, in any class of service. The large square plate just makes it look worse, since half the plate is empty. And what's up with the sauce in the foil container? If they're going to serve the sauce on the side, they ought to put it in something more appropriate.

I'm kind of nervous/scared/anxious, etc. It's going to be a long wait (potentially up to 4 years, but could be as fast as 3 months) so I won't be jumping into anything crazy too quickly, but it kept me up all last night.

You bought an engagement ring? :p

That would be far too simple, and I'm way too cynical to think that this, though brilliant, would ever happen.

One of the finer points of the England stop on our recent trip was the wide variety of local brews available. Imagine my surprise when I learned that ALCO seems to have set up shop in Dorset, England, with the Otter Ale and Otter Bitter both available in a few of the pubs. And, as is traditional in that part of the world, special glasses to match (sorry the picture isn't great, but it is the best I could get in the dark pub. I would've snagged one for you but my bag was already overstuffed thanks to the kilim we bought in Turkey.

And for the golf fans here in the Box, I put up a few from the course near our hotel in England on the Golfscapes thread.

Oh, and beer can be used to help pose a photo, too.

+1. Looks like I picked the wrong day to leave my windows open. :o

I think HPN flights are delayed through November between Hanna and today's pummeling.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a BWI-SAN R/T for $235.50 a/i, MR (Saturday, 9/27, with a redeye return). Anyone want to join me? I'll need it to downgrade to silver for next year. Only 2 1/2 hours in SAN. There's a 3 1/2 hour stop in IAH on the way there.^

Be careful - SAN can be a difficult upgrade.

BTW, the auction closed at 150,500 miles for this HD. Talk about ridiculous. That's something on the order of 0.13 CENTS per mile value, assuming that MSRP is reasonable. In this case something comparable is available for $95, meaning that the miles were really only valued at 0.06 cents by the bidder. And there was more than one person bidding to get the thing at those rates. Just crazy.

CO should let OP members auction their own stuff for miles , and charge fees based on how many miles the items go for , sort of like ebay does.

I don't know where "here" is, but here in PHL, I wouldn't call it a little storm. This is worse than Saturday's weather. A lot more lightning and thunder. On Saturday, Allentown was hit with a minimal tornado.

ConciergeMike Sep 9, 2008 9:25 am

There are some really deep dark shades of red on the Accuweather radar. ACY is clear for now, but I can just imagine how EWR/PHL are falling behind.

That trip involved progressive steps downwards in seat/service...

LH F ---> SA J ---> DL J ---> CO Domestic F (step down in seat, but better meals than DL BizElite).
