Not that I know of. If something like that happens and I'm working, I usually end up hearing it from hotel guests. No such news today. There's one spot that always floods (Black Horse Pike at West End Ave., right by the baseball stadium) and I haven't heard even that.

Apparently there's some flooding at the shore. Ventnor and Margate are two that have some flooding. I don't know how significant the flooding is.

Ventnor and Margate flooding has reached the point of not being a news item in Atlantic City proper. The Ventnor-AC border is right by that spot I mentioned, so it's a given that in bad enough rain, the bay will come up and cover that one street.

Hrm, this would have been good information to know, but seeing as how we stopped going to the Trop I don't think we would take that to AC anymore.

Guess who is making this a news item.:rolleyes::rolleyes: Thankfully, I am not going to the shore to cover the "flooding."

People have stopped going to Trop? Surely you joke. ;)

In other news, the girlfriend had to work late and is thrilled just to be going away. She knows not what comes, and it will send her thrill factor thru the roof.

I have a couple of US Helicopter flights booked. How far is the flight in miles? It will be funny to see those actual EQMs posted after the changes Jan 1st :p

ConciergeMike Sep 9, 2008 5:54 pm

I think the downtown heliports to EWR are 9 miles. So says FlightMemory.

sdm1130 Sep 9, 2008 5:58 pm

A silly question for The Box...

I can cancel a (non-refundable) ticket after checking in - correct?

Eight or eleven, for JRB or TSS, respectively.
