I have spent far too much time on CO 733s and 735s.

Same here.

And even more time spent on ERJs, CRJs, and Saabs.

I had the joy of taking a 733 from SFO-CLE a couple years ago due to an equipment swap with a 73G. I really had no idea that they had those kind of legs!

To me, the 735 is the scourge of the fleet and I can not see them go soon enough. Only 8 seats up front and only two decent seats in back due to the funky bulkhead and exit rows. At least most of my flights on CoEx and CoConn are short enough that I can cope and, more importantly, do not have any expectations.

It could be worse.... Most of your flights could be on Gulfstreams!

Yep the 733 can go quite some distance. They used to fly them occasionally on IAH-SEA as well.

My longest 733 flight is SFO-IAH. Not quite as far as SFO-CLE, but still a long way.

As for the 735s, I don't mind them that much. But that's probably because I get upgraded more often than not on that plane (most of my 735 flights have been between IAH and ATL, IND, and MSP).

My very first CO flight was on a 733 PHX-EWR back when they were new or so they seemed to be new. I don't really like 735's but not for the reason most people don't like them. I can't sit forwad of the wing as I get slightly motion sick up there the way it rocks back and forth in the slightest turbulance as well as other weird hard to describe flight characteristics that CRJ's also do.

ahh yes I should have been clear on my intent. No no, I am not at all in favor of the current trend of privatize profit while subsiding the risk. I meant it more on the lines of,

Dear Congress

thanks for %^&$ing things up even more

continue the great job of being useless

I just found out CO is adding a co-pay fee for domestic mileage upgrades for nonelites (UA)......is it me or is CO more and more like United?

How are the CO Beech 1900s? Worth a slightly inconvenient routing to grab one (I don't do FlightMemory... officially... )?

If it's not going to make a shiny new line on a map, why bother? :D

Unfortunately, it's not going to be very long line, even if it's shiny. :)

Well, previously non-elites couldn't upgrade on those fares at all. I'm not really sure that the co-pay is a bad thing from that perspective.

Do you already have a B1900 from another carrier? If so, I wouldn't bother. If not, go for it.

Hey now, I have some nice medium length lines on mine that are in Beechs!

That little plane is slow, bumpy, loud, and ugly as sin, but it can fly a long way.
