Unfreaking believable.

Based on my current bookings through EOY I'll hit CO mileage at 74,632 (due, mainly, to not flying CO for my last few trips due to inconvenient times / prices).
What really puts salt on this wound is that I think my BIS miles for the year are around 115k. How could I have been so stoopid.

EWR-CLT same day return Dec 13 for $118.
You will be kicking youself if you don't make plat.

Winner, winner. That might be the best option. Plat for $118 is definitely worth it, imo.

Who knows, with a full month to go something might pop-up work related as well. I'm already traveling a boat-load in Dec. though.

NWA and Delta have some really low fares to MSY out of HPN over the holidays. (1/2) Credit EQM to CO of course.

I just didnt like the boarding process and not being able to pick the seat prior to boarding.

Their boarding process is much improved now over what it was even a year ago. The new system of being assigned a place in line has eliminated the camping out at the gates that was going on. Granted there's still no assigned seating, but it's better than it was, and I've had generally good luck getting an exit row seat when I've checked in online 24 hours out.

They've also improved their gate areas, with new leather lounge chairs, lots of AC and USB power ports all over the place, family areas with toys and play areas to segregate the kids and families from the business travelers, and some other nice features to help improve the experience.

No kidding. That's way too close to not do a quick mileage run and get Platinum. And you can't beat $118 for a same day return out of EWR! That's cheaper than any intra-Texas same day return out of IAH!

My brain hurts. I want to go home and crawl in bed and hide. Will this week never end?

Go to Spankys for lunch and have a greasy Burger! That is the cure for a hangover! Then head to Abuelos for dinner and have a Margarita and repeat tomorrow.

Haha. Considering I had Whataburger last night for dinner I think I'll skip on Spanky's.

And there's no hangover here. Just a lot of work-related stress.

Morning, Box! :D

I always forget about ACY. The only issue with ACY is I don't think it has a large enough population center around it.

As for HPN, yeah, there's way too much traffic there with FL and B6. I had the chance to fly out of there two years ago and that waiting room is just ridiculous. But, if WN came to town, they could just use one of the neighboring fields as a waiting room and living up to their reputation as a cattle call. :D

Hmmmm... you could go out to the bars it is Wednesday! I really can't think of what else you could do to relieve stress in LBB?

Well aren't you just helpful! :) I don't think that is an option, next you will suggest that he fly off to AMS for the weekend! :)

Yes and no. NK packs their Florida flights, despite being the scuzbuckets of the industry that they are. Marketing in the right places could get ACY to be much larger than it is, but no one wants to fix the overriding problem with ACY, which is accommodations. There aren't enough real hotels in the area to make the airlines want to go there. One of the VP's at the ACCVA told me that an airline wants to see the AC area have 25k hotel rooms before any real service would start. OK, fine...the city and surrounding area a few thousand rooms short of that, and all of the halted casino construction would get it to within sniffing distance of that number, if not a little above. The catch is that the hotel rooms in the casinos are counted as rooms in the airlines' thinking, but the casinos don't want to help the airlines.

Chimy's? Stella's?

I've submitted the S/O's name change request to the OPSC along with the marriage license and her new drivers license, we'll see what happens.
