Better than a non-exit row window in coach. ^

Now to convince CO at the next DO to abandon those wafer-thin F seats they're installing on the 739ERs and install Prem+ seats for Domestic F.

I'm on an Old 97's kick for some reason this morning...

No kidding. CO was sold a bill of goods on those seats. They are most certainly not an improvement over the previous generation.

As you should be. I am jealous, too.

You're the resident Tundra-Jet Expert. Which seat in F on a NW CR9?

I prefer the single seat side. But no matter which seat you pick, it's still better than Y, but still not great, because the seats aren't very comfortable.

I suspect the bean-counters were more interested in how much the seats weighed, and were not particularly concerned with how comfortable they were.

That would make for interesting conversation with CO execs.

They would only have to increase pitch in F by 14" :D

DL T3 at JFK is one of the most bizzare terminals I've even seen. After I fought my way to the first class checkin line last night (which did not take long), I then waited in the security lane for at least half an hour (no first class/elite line in that area) to funnel down to only a handful of metal detectors - way too few for the volume of passengers checking in. The security line snaked all the way around the ticket counters, and people had to fight through the security line to get to the checkin lines. In retrospect, I probably should have gone over to T2.

I would love to here Jeff Smisek's reaction to that proposition.

I agree. They are not nearly as comfortable and they feel a bit narrower as well. The storage area is missing from the center console as well. :(

I wonder why they only put them on the new 739ERs and not the new 738s...

+1 It would be a most interesting response.

Sounds like ALCO needs to attend the DO now. :)
