Again, I'm fine either way. If we'd like to plan something for Friday before the DO IV (dinner, drinks?) I can put together a list of places.

Based on the start time of the Friday evening events the last two years, I think it's pointless to go someplace Friday afternoon before it all starts. Usually CO is providing dinner and drinks with the Friday night event starting in the early evening. And with people flying in Friday afternoon, I don't think we'd all be there in time.

It doesn't.

The Friday night event likely will go past the close of the P Clubs, in any case.

It will.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. Let me know if you pull the trigger and Ill do it too.

I sure will. Most likely I will purchase tomorrow when the discount code is posted. If you want we can share a cab from downtown to the airport. I am not sure if there is a train, I have not looked it up.

Another outstanding reason to do it Sunday.

The E PC closes at 11:30. No better way to Do the DO than close down the PC two nights in a row (if we go there again!).

By the time the Friday night party ends, we drive over there, get passes, and go through security, there probably won't be much time in the PC anyway. They also typically close the bar about 30 minutes before the club closes too. Based on the last two years, I've been at the Friday night party until they were kicking us out, and that was usually around 11:00 PM anyway.

Take the R1 from 30th St Station to the airport. It's much cheaper and pretty convenient.

This is what I have done in the past but if it is running late or the bus was late into 30th st station I think a cab would be a good idea.

Sounds good. I will shoot you a pm tomorrow. I am thinking this is going to be the best option for me.

Yup...that's what I've done every time. Note that a o/w is $7, a r/t on weekdays is ~$12.50 and a r/t on weekends is ~$9. Very strange pricing model.

Trains run 2x hourly and the trip to the Terminal D stop is ~25-30 minutes.

As far as restaurants for Sunday:

Empire Cafe
Backstreet Cafe
Dharma Cafe
Baba Yega
Shade
Gravitas (We had a DO here)

All of these are fairly central in the city and are a quick ride to the airport (15-20 minutes on the Hardy Toll Road or 45)

Just mailed in the boarding passes from my Amtrak trip I took in April for credit to CO.

What's the over/under on when they will post?

You may get hosed on this one:

All requests for missing mileage credit need to be made within six months of activity.

What's the plan, what time were you guys thinking of doing this? I am going to try for a 5pm departure.

True. Nothing wrong with ending the weekend with some early-afternoon Box drinking.
