Thanks. I'm actually staying down there until Tuesday.

I actually scored tickets to ELP for cheap and on a 733. No CRJ for me! :D

Congrats! 733 to ELP on the cheap is worth the extra drive versus a CRJ. Can't blame you there. And the scenery between El Paso and the Big Bend/Davis Mountains region is far better. The drive down from Midland/Odessa is pretty dull and involves many miles of nothing but dirt, weeds, and cactus.

There are some truly great restaurants out there as well, as well as some Tex Mex dives that serve up some darn good enchiladas and tacos with ice cold Mexican beer for dirt cheap prices.

Better get myself up to PHL and take some pictures before they renovate her.

If they do anything to her, it won't be for a while, and then it'll take forever to get done. Supposedly NCL is talking about tearing up most of the topside and adding decks, which IMO is  because I would think the point would be to keep the tonnage where it is so as to keep the speed.

Having said that, my offer stands: if you're coming up, we can do the SS US, USS New Jersey and Philly itself all rolled into one big photo mission.

Indeed it was. I had never seen 29 in use in person before, and it was a very  moment until I realized what was happening.

This, along with some great BBQ is the aim for the week. I plan to come back 15 lbs. heavier.

There's some good crap on sale there. Too bad I'll be on a plane Friday.

You couldn't pay me to go to a mall on Black Friday. Which, ironically, is what one of the largest malls in the NE is doing. Buy a mall gift card, get one randomly valued between $10 and $100 for free.

This is the same mall that caught on fire last year during Black Friday. The mentality of people is so stupid that they were literally walking into a structure that had smoke visibly pouring out of it, along with about 30 fire trucks and half a dozen ambulances in front.

People. Are. Stupid.

I also bet, dollars to donuts, that sales will be disappointing on Black Friday and further "drastic" sales will be announced to compensate in December.

Agree on both.

Not doing any shopping this Friday either. I never really have, probably never will. I'd much rather go when it's not so crowded. Friday's a holiday for me. No way am I getting up early to deal with that chaos on my day off.

OK Box, I'm off. Say a prayer that my trip on US today is as awesome as CO 1E swears it will be.

Just noticed that AM made a schedule change that adversely affected my RTW for next year. Had to nix CDG-MEX-IAH, and replace it with CDG-AMS-DFW. It does enlarge the number of SkyTeam Carriers I'll sample on that trip, though...

AM
KE
SU
OK
AF
KL

I've not tried KE or OK before, so am definitely looking forward to those. The E90 and 772 on AM should be fun, as well.

I'm looking forward to trying KE as well. Their J seats look pretty nice for a SkyTeam carrier. What's your KE routing?
