Finally this week is looking up. After a truly wretched day at work yesterday, with a project manager jacking around my schedule, and nothing working at my client, today my schedule is fixed, my client's ACH file has finally been blessed by their bank, and all of the problems we had this morning have been solved. I may not be drinking tonight to drown my woes, but to celebrate!

This would be the Gulfstream FLL - TPA route, so, yes, a short line on my non-existent FlightMemory. It'll save me $80 vs. the non-stop on the way back but will add a 90 minutes to the trip home. Same amount of EQM's because the FLL - EWR leg is an H fare right now.

Not sure if I've ever been on one before. I'm guessing not though. Unless they used to fly into HHH.

Can we please change the title of the defected to CO thread? Every single time I see it, I read it as "Freshly Defecated to CO - Any Tips?"

LOL. The fresh defecations at CO are the policy matches to UA.

I've flown that crappy little plane over 1,400 miles on five different airlines and nine routes over the years. Scary to think that I've flown the equivalent of IAH-EWR on that plane — and I've had runs that were as long as 363 miles on it.

Does anyone have any personal experience with the reward one program from continental?

It is worth it to sign up?

The only way I will get on a Cessna 402 or another B1900 is to get an FM line into EYW. That and only that. I did a B1900 from DFW-SPS r/t and the only more horrid flying experience I've had was when the troop carrier flight home started to smell like feet and other bodily fragrances combined with the smell of the cheese-flavored potato chips with about 12 hours of flying to go.

The Cessna 208 is where it's at. A single-engine turboprop experience in Honduras was slightly nerve-wracking. :D

Yes; I signed up when I signed up for OP. It's been well worth it.

I loved my dirt strip landing in Belize on a Caravan. I could tell the pilot was preparing for approach, well I was behind him looking over his shoulder, but could not discern any runway. Well, that is because it was dirt and a freakin road ran through it! (It was paved, striped and lighted while we were there).

This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know why there is a plus sigh (+) next to CO Insider + under the Currently Active Users section?

Cessna, shmesshma... I've just added a line to my FM from a long ago flight during my youth... On a Ford Trimotor no less.
Shortest Flight (distance): 8 mi, 0:31 h, South Bass (South Bass Island Airport) - Port Clinton (Erie-Ottawa Regional), 1969
Can't remember the exact date but I do remember the main landing gear tire was still spinning when we landed.:D
Pretty cool airplane. I flew in it three times. On one of the flights my dad got to sit right seat because they didn't have any more room in the back. Talk about your upgrades eh?^

Years ago, my gf at the time was flying SAN-EWR that was scheduled for a 73G. They ended subbing a 733 in for it and I was amazed that it could make it. I'm pretty sure they glided right into EWR. :D

Any thoughts on if it is appropriate to negotiate with the caterer for a wedding reception? In early discussions with the gentleman, he has shown willingness to throw some extra details in at no extra cost. Now that we have officially decided on this location/caterer I'm wondering if I can push a little harder to negotiate. We aren't on a super tight budget or anything, so the prices he has quoted are fine but I'm just curious to know if anything more can be done. I'm always up for a good negotiation. :D

Thoughts? Experiences?
