PHL I'm curious about, given that it seems the most likely AA/US hub to get the axe once their agreements run out in a couple years. How long are these contracts AX signs?

After the announced IAH Centurion Lounge here's an updated list:
significant airside access (you can walk to mostly any gate from any other gate without having to re-clear security),
somewhat limited airside access (you can walk to some gates but not the majority of gates, without having to re-clear security), and
limited airside access where you cannot walk from one gate to the majority of other gates without having to re-clear security.

I have noted if there's an existing DL hub with multiple SkyClubs and crossed out locations that already have an AX lounge.

mia has also noted the presence of Priority Pass (P) and Airspace (A) lounges:

1. ATL - 46.6; DL hub + SkyClubs P=1
2. LAX - 34.3 P=4
3. DFW - 34.2 P=1
4. ORD - 33.6 P=2
5. JFK - 26.2 P=2, A=1
6. DEN - 26.0 P=0
7. SFO - 22.7 P=0
8. CLT - 21.5 P=0
9. LAS - 20.5 P=2
10. PHX - 20.3 P=1
11. IAH - 19.7 P=1
12. MIA - 19.4 P=2
13. SEA - 17.8 P=3
14. EWR - 17.6 P=1
15. MCO - 17.2 P=0
16. MSP - 16.9; DL hub + SkyClubs P=0
17. DTW - 15.7; DL hub + SkyClubs P=0
18. BOS - 15.4 P=1
19. PHL - 14.7 P=0
20. LGA - 13.4 P=1
26. DCA - 10.0 P=0

Legacy US runs a significant amount of international flights out of PHL -- I hope they don't drop those ! (Also many domestic, including transcons)

No. Just a list of large airports which are expected/good options for CLs.

MDW and LUV would be great, I Think the WN hubs would be great targets since WN has no lounges... = no competition.

Concur on that. Improve experience for WN flyer and get some of the high spenders to get Platinum instead of Chase Southwest card.

Yes! This is one reason I try to avoid WN... no lounges. If they can get the Amex lounges in the major WN hubs (Even a studio version), that would really take the sting away from flying WN.

I know ATL is a DL hub but it would still be a nice addition. Cent lounges are sweet......DL lounges aren't that bad but need food

It would be a nice addition. I would prefer CLT personally though as there really are zero decent lounge options there. At least it ATL as you've stated we have the many SkyClubs as well as "The Club" in the F concourse.

Chances of a Centurion Lounge in ORD?

As a Midwestern flyer, I would love to see a Centurion Lounge @ ORD.

Split the difference between AA and UA terminals and build in in Terminal 2.

Thoughts?

First - Congratulate on your 1st ever post.

Since AMEX lost AA and pmCO as partners, I am sure that AMEX's mindset targets on UA and AA hub.

So ORD, IMO, is definitely a possibility.

The matter is where and when.

2 weeks ago in SFO the gate agent at the centurion lounge was implying to the person in front of me that it would happen "soon" (she could have say that to cheer him up as he was enquiring for it, she could also have no idea).

OTOH AmEx has a lounge agreement with DL that all Plat and Centurion cardmembers can access the DL SC (at ORD and throughout the system) when the passenger has a same day flight operated and marketed by DL. Certain DL AmEx cardholders get the same privilege. Given this, I would expect ORD to be a low priority location for a Centurion lounge.
