American Airlines ConciergeKeySM / "CK" Program (by invitation only)
(Includes Executive Platinum status and Admirals Club membership)
NOTE: For questions such as "How can I get Concierge Key?" or "This is my spend: will I get CK?" Please refer to the How do I make / making AA Concierge Key / ConciergeKey / CK?thread
Also see AA Concierge Key invitations / renewal for 2019 status (out early 12/2018).
13 Apr 2020: AAdvantage extends CK status is extended automatically until Jan 31, 2022.
"The ConciergeKey Program is an exclusive program that American Airlines has for our very top customers. This is by invitation only and a very exclusive club." (Billy Sanez for AA)
ConciergeKey Services are provided to a select group of VIPs to facilitate travel on AA. The program is offered on an invitation basis only and is targeted at customers who control travel policy for large organizations. Customers who generate a high amount of revenue for AA may also be invited into this program (possibly those who spend upwards of US$60k a year on travel with AA).
Services provided include airport escorts and pre-boarding (seems variable, more likely during OSO?); assistance with flight changes, seat changes, and upgrade requests via their own dedicated telephone line. In addition, there is the ability to communicate directly with ConciergeKey associates via a dedicated email address. ConciergeKeySM representatives will also monitor day of travel of ConciergeKey members and will proactively reroute or rebook travel when necessary. ConciergeKey status allows check-in at First Class counters, as well as access to elite lines through security at certain airports. Miles and copay upgrades with copay waived.
ConciergeKey is now a distinct elite tier, above Executive Platinum. ConciergeKey benefits include membership to the Admirals Club, international miles upgrades with copayment waived, as well as two additional System-Wide Upgrades (SWU's) as part of CK membership.
CK members have access to Flagship Check-in on any flight, and CK will have Flagship Lounge access when flying a OneWorld airline.
As of 1 Jan 2017, Concierge Key members have upgrade requests prioritized over all other tiers: CK members have an upgrade window of (up to) 120 hours (Executive Platinum member's will retain the 100 hour upgrade window). CK members will board ahead of other passengers.
Regarding Concierge Key tier benefits coming in 2017, please see: New Concierge Key Benefits for 2017: New CK Elite Status Tier
Please: do respect members' privacy by refraining from asking for overly personal information and details relating to ConciergeKey membership or nomination. If your question receives no response, consider the member chooses not to reply, as is his/her right.
Boarding Area's AAdvantageGeek's blog shows the card and documents here.

Has anyone ever been successful getting a CK meet and greet/golf cart in LHR when flying an AA codehsare BA metal?
I am transiting thru LHR from AMS which means i arrive T3, need to get to T5. My flight to Europe was on AA, but return is BA metal (but ticketed as AA).
I want to get to T5 Concorde Club Room as quickly as possible- so i can kill at least an hour there. But if I have to do the long walk, train etc security myself, this adds a lot of time.
Anyone ever get CK to golf cart them in LHR on BA?

I was met by a CK agent right off the BA flight and given the tarmac ride to T3. She was waiting just for us. Was great as my entire family was with me and my wife HATES anything having to do with transiting LHR.
She did not walk us through security though. I have only received that when it’s really a crunch to make the connection.

Slight detour question, but in regards to CK 2024 and waiting for renewal/decline limbo. Need to pick my rewards for 2024, and one of the choices is Admirals club membership. Given we won't know if we are renewed before we need to pick this, I'm hedging my bets and want to choose this in case I don't get CK.
It won't let me choose this reward for myself as it shows that I still have the membership expiring end of April.
Does anyone know if one can GIFT (admirals club membership) this to their spouse?

$1,000 says someone ponders if having this available or not is potentially some early indication of whether or not we’re getting renewed

Despite having 800k by July of last year and overlooking me for mid-year, they finally offered a challenge late last year. I’m now just starting phase 2 of the CK challenge, and even though I was nearly 1.2m LP last QY, I was assured by the Exec Liaisons (the role sadly being eliminated) that I would still be considered for full year CK and may not have to complete the challenge. For reference, those LP were from lots of high-margin flights - including many TATL J & F - and ALL on AA metal, even when less convenient.
And while there is a decent chance i’ll still meet the challenge, my international travel varies highly quarter to quarter; yet, I’m hoping they recognize this and grant full year CK based on principle / acknowledging a committed customer with repeated high-margin spend.
I live at what WSJ called a “fortress hub” for AA…. But plan to move to a more competitive market in the next year or two… and certainly if AA continues to show this is a 1-way street, then I’ll gladly switch to UA (I’m still only at 800k lifetime with AA, and my career path could easily land 4m+ before I retire, enough to get the GS for life perk).
I’ll certainly be curious if any CK challenge folks receive a full-year invite. Sadly, I’m not holding my breath, but will still keep my fingers crossed for you!
(Again, apologies, but if anyone comments I still cannot acknowledge posts as my ‘like’ button isn’t working… but know I’ll read and respect/appreciate any opinions / comments!)

For what it’s worth, I’m assuming I won’t be renewed either (and to be sure, my sarcastic comment was directed at others (sometimes myself included) that are looking for any indication 😋

I'm a loyal Marriott guy and had never made a Hyatt account to be linked to my CK . I did yesterday and it has me as Globalist until 2/28/2026. Thought that was odd. Anybody else extended all the way until 2026?

You made me look and mine is still to 2/25 Maybe you lucked out since it was after they did the extensions this year?? Not knowing your tier with Marriott but I am presuming Ambassador?? I think you will enjoy Globalist. I have had the best treatment with them for benefits, upgrades, etc. I have working toward lifetime with them knowing my CK will end eventually and forsaking the others.

It is a no brainer looking at the benefits of being a Globalist vs CK, and not just the lifetime status.

AA should absolutely follow UA and offer lifetime status. It's ridiculous we are capped at a crappy lifetime Platinum.
