I stopped by the temp set-up at ORD today around 8:30am but it was closed. Didn't look worth making another attempt when I fly out.

Do you know how long that will be there? I'm assuming it will close after Jan 1st? I would LOVE a Centurion in ORD.

As long as we're wishing, I'd love to see a Centurion Studio at RDU. There's a location for it already: the former US Airways Club which has been closed since last year. I realize this is a pipe dream but we do have a HVC or two in the Triangle.

I haven't heard much of anything lately regarding new lounges on the horizon. Do we know of any new lounge development?

Rumors of LAX have died down, guessing nowhere to put it...

There's the old US Airways Club in Terminal 1, though obviously that would only benefit Southwest passengers so I doubt it'll happen.

i'm surprised they haven't announced any new location yet. LAX, DEN, ORD, IAD would be fantastic additions.

It's not announced by Amex yet, but from another thread it seems there may be a new location at BOG.

Oh it is very, very much the opposite. Most non-US lounges are significantly better than the ones in the US. Especially if you are a Centurion member. I love the one at MEX where there is unlimited high-end tequila, great food and excellent service.

The one at GRU wasn't so great, but I read that it closed down and there is a new one?

I think it depends where you'll be. For example, the SYD Centurion Lounge is worse than any US location including SEA.

To be fair the SYD lunge is not branded Centurion, it's just The American Express Lounge.

I'm flying out for the holiday on Tuesday, and can pop over to the space they previously had.
