Polaris Progress Tracker 2017.06.26
United has installed a Polaris Progress Tracker on its webpage, which tracks the progress of aircraft types/routes with Polaris seats and Polaris lounge openings. Here is the link:

Under the "Aircraft" tab, all currently existing routes serviced by the new 773 (SFO-HKG, EWR-TLV and SFO-NRT are listed) are listed as well as (yet to be converted) 763 and 772 types. For the 763 the listed starting date is "Fall 2017." For the 772 the webpage states "Winter 2017," which sounds optimistic to me as it sounds more like 4th quarter of 2017 than the previously announced first quarter of 2018. Zodiac's output of Polaris seats for all three aircraft types must be ultra smooth by now, if United wants to stick with its predictions. Can't wait to see the first converted 763 in mid July...

Interesting conversation today at the DEN United Club with an Agent. The rumor is that one of the lounges is going to be broken up to be a Polaris lounge (West most likely), sometime next year after the new London flight gets up and running. It would be a much smaller lounge than most as there are only two polaris flights per day, but may include them opening up the west side of the current lounge to get some west facing mountain views, etc.
On face value I would not think they would do that unless they are planning a couple more 787 routes out of DEN. However, I like imagining it. While I'm imagining it, I am going to also assume that they are going to add an outdoor feature like the new LAX UC, with a west facing view.

A bit of climate difference between LAX and DEN for an outdoor section of the UC. I would like it, but I doubt it will happen.

I don't believe there is a third floor above the upper level of the E club. Adding an additional floor would be a major project, definitely a 6-8 month plus deal.

IF this is true, I would hope to see some additional international expansion out of DEN, although I don't think there are many cities that an airline could fly to out of DEN that don't already have international service and I doubt UA would start a flight from DEN unless they already have flights to that destination from ORD, EWR, SFO, and IAH.

The whole club is closed till about October. The United club will then re-open on the lower level followed (possibly months after) by the Polaris lounge on the higher level.

My understanding was that Polaris lounge was going to be on Floor 3.
Edit: I am using American floor numbers not European floor numbers where the first floor about ground level is floor 1.

If the plan is for the top floor to be polaris at iah, there will be overcrowding at both lounges. Currently the e lounge gets very busy on both floors. Sooo glad they delayed the remodel just to shrink the only UC in term e.

6-8 months is fast for United to retrofit an existing club . New construction would take years at that floor.

If they are smart they will make the entire lounge a Polaris Lounge and build a smaller UC somewhere else on E

There most certainly is (I believe the only one on E is by E12 and this is the one I am referring to), you enter on the first floor, then second floor has the bar, and third floor has showers.

You're obviously correct in that there is the entry on the main (concourse) level, escalators up to the second floor which is the primary club level, and stairs up to the third floor which is currently club space. I suppose a new level would technically be the fourth (or higher) floor. I don't think that's happening.

I don't see how they can possibly have anywhere near sufficient capacity if the Polaris lounge is limited to the current third floor of the UC.

I suppose a certain percentage of the folks in the club are business class, but I agree, the club is quite crowded at the busy times (morning/afternoon).
