Under the "Aircraft" tab, all currently existing routes serviced by the new 773 (SFO-HKG, EWR-TLV and SFO-NRT are listed) are listed as well as (yet to be converted) 763 and 772 types. For the 763 the listed starting date is "Fall 2017." For the 772 the webpage states "Winter 2017," which sounds optimistic to me as it sounds more like 4th quarter of 2017 than the previously announced first quarter of 2018. Zodiac's output of Polaris seats for all three aircraft types must be ultra smooth by now, if United wants to stick with its predictions. Can't wait to see the first converted 763 in mid July...

Dear XXXXX:
No announcement has been made to let us know when additional United
Polaris lounges will be opening. We are still renovating some of the
locations. Our United Premium Cabin Lounges page on our website will be
updated once the dates are announced. I've included the link for you
below.

This does not preclude any rumors from being true.

The other issue with overseas Polaris lounges is how to police them so that only long haul international F and J pax can use them. In the US that’s straightforward and the only OALs excluded are Air Canada (and presumably Copa and Avianca). But overseas is very different.

LHR would be sort of okay as the short hauls depart from T2A and UA uses T2B with the long hauls. But you could still have a LH pax go all the way out to B and be denied access. And what to do with TK?

HKG you’d have to exclude presumably SQ, TG, BR, CA and ZH. And what about NH and OZ? TYO and ICN are only a little over 4 hours, yet NH may be carrying UA J pax to connect to UA at NRT/HND.

And then there’s TYO where in addition to excluding CA/OZ/BR they’d have to check every NH boarding pass for the destination and work out if the destination qualifies. Would they allow NH to HKG but not to CAN or ZH to SZH? And would UA allow GUM pax?

I noted earlier for LHR they can exclude intra-Europe flights, same with HKG/NRT, they can exclude intra-Asia or just limit to SIN/BKK/CGK/KUL + US destinations. Another option would be to just make it for UA Polaris passengers, similar to what QR does with their lounges in BKK and BEY, which are restricted to QR J/F and elite passengers. (Though rules might have relaxed lately)

As noted elsewhere I would appreciate a Polaris Lounge at FRA as well, given the large and ever expanding number of flights now operating into/out of there, despite the LH lounges which often are very crowded and offer a soft product a step (SEN lounge) or two (business lounge) below the best PLs have to offer.
Further, it is a real challenge to find any UA support/agent at FRA gate & lounge-side. This was never an issue, at the time of the UC and IFL in FRA.

There used to be a UA agent in the FRA LH business lounge, though I think someone wrote on here that they seem to have disappeared
