Specialty cocktails on offer at ORD B6. Coincidentally, the Chicago Air & Water Show is this weekend. Bartenders were great (as usual at B6, IME)

Anyone been to the B18 lounge recently?

I have a layover at ORD this evening and my gate is closest to B18. Should I walk down to the B6 lounge instead-- or are they basically the same as far as food / drink options?

I feel like B18 and B6 are comparable in that regard, but YMMV.

(Realizing that my reply is too late for the OP, but it might help others)

Pretty much the same as far as drink options go. Food-wise, B6 may be better. There are two stations in the B6 club with different hot/sandwich options. Both are larger than the single food station in B18. More space at B6, too, but I'm not convinced it translates into better seat availability.

Now, that might not matter much if B18 has sufficient food options for you. You can always check out the scenery at B18 and decide to walk back to B6 if you don't like it. It's not that far.

The bar was out of Aviation Gin when I stopped by a week ago, so they couldn't make special cocktails. Such a tease!

I think B6 > F8 > B18 > C16 is still valid. I usually just turn left after Premier Pre and go to B6. It's a short walk anywhere in T1.

A bit late now but start at B18. B6 will always be there. Hopefully you didn't have to stare down the B Corridor of J Despair - hate the B19-B24 gates down that way that require you to traverse the letter J.

My wife and I call B19-24 the alternate universe.🤣
Good restaurant at the turn though (Tuscany? or something similar).

New C16 when open may be very much like EWR C123. Stay tuned sometime this fall.

Can't wait. The current C16 club, while affording good views (unlike the one by B6) is just too small and overcrowded to be useful. At least when I am usually flying out. I mean, 4 seats at the bar total? Berghoff by high-C gates is more appealing.

An outfit of Phil Stefani's Tuscany. The Wheeling, IL location was decent, but it closed earlier this year. I have not been to the one in Little Italy.

With T1 food options being somewhat limited, this is one of the better ones. IMHO.

There's going to be a new club at C16? That one isn't that old. very crowded since half of it is now polaris, but still not that old.

It's a little further down the concourse, between C12 and C16 (more like across from C15) but it is an all-new structure being built out over the apron, and it's going to be several times larger than the current C16 club, which was always to be temporary. I believe the C16 UC will then become part of an expanded Polaris Lounge.
