New prg code for 75k!
So, two days ago I applied for (and got instant approval for) the PRGold as well as the new Biz Gold (OPEN) cards. After about an hour, I called up and tried the 6661 for the PRG and several others (after that one didn't work), only to be told that I didn't qualify - for some reason or another - for any of them. At that point, the incredible kind agent said, "hold on. Let me see if I can't find something equally generous that you WOULD qualify for." (Umm, OK?).
Two minutes later she said she had applied BONUS ID# 6939 to my account, which would give me 75k points after $1,000 spend in three months! Woohoo!
Note, getting the PRG code applied took about three phone calls.
Not wanting to push my luck, I then hung up and called back to apply 6608 to the biz. First call, no problem. DONE! WOOHOO!
As a side note, Mrs. ariyo15 also applied for the regular gold. Anyone know a nice signup bonus id for that?

Congrats. Did you have any problems or did you have a RSVP code?
Important data points. Did you apply code 6608 to Biz account.
Having the Biz card will not preclude you from getting the PRG Card. Without an RSVP CODE getting the bump applied to the PRG might take some work.
I would clear all cookies and apply from another source ,not your account .
Then on app mention you are an existing customer as AMEX will find it anyway and give you a short form application.
Read read read all different posts on how people where successful.

called in to ask for the 50 k points for the AU user (5721) MR said it will electronically be added in 8 weeks. The other codes 5748 for the Platinum bump to 100k and 5985 need to be added manually so I have to call in.....and to my surprise, he said i need to call in for 6661 to have it manually added.....I don't recall having this last one added.
what is 6661? can't remember....oops just got off phone, lady said it was 6664 but than told me I don't qualify and I said that is fine.....

You can or since you have online access with Amex you can send a secure message right away. Select a different Amex card, then select Membership Rewards then Points Balance. It may be easier to get the bump via phone according to most of these recent posts.

So I can apply, hopefully get approved, then send SMS from my biz account in regards to my PRG card and ask for bump before I get card? It sounds like 6939 is the code to request for?

If 6939 doesn't work you can try 6661. I have helps several friends lately and they were all approved with 6661 in the past 1-2 weeks.

Is there a current Biz Gold link that is better than the one on AMEX own site? (the one touted by all blogs about spending $10K in 5 months for 50K bonus).
I thought I have seen one with lower bonus but also much lower spend and people can try for the bump using 6608 ($2K spend) to get 100K.

I just talked to MR rewards and confirmed that 6608 was in fact expired and they confirmed that. Then, i asked if there were any other codes available, he said no. I asked him to look up 6678 (75000 points for $2k spend...I read that from another thread), he said it is active from 7/12 to 11/30 and expires on 9/6. (not sure what the 7/12 to 11/30 dates are if it expires on 9/6). Maybe that's the time limit (until 11/30) to meet the spend requirements.
Maybe you or someone else can call and inquire about that as well as a double-confirmation. If it's still active, I'll do it, 75000 is not as good as 100000, but good enough for me!

Received card, 75K guaranteed
Received gold card today and as many of the posts suggested called CSR to apply code. They did, and said 25K after 1 K spend. Then will have to call CSR to apply code again to receive remaining 50K.

I would prefer a lower spend offer just in case I dont get the bump I would still get a bonus.

I just got approved for a PRG but I don't see the PRG card when I try to send a SMS. How long does it take? Or should I just select the Biz card and refer to the PRG in the message? Anybody?
