Went out of town to San Mateo, CA. I was able to grab 3 x $500 VR. There were about 20 cards left on the shelf. Whoooo!

My purchases hanged after the 2nd card and ID scan. Cashier scanned my ID again and it went through after a long pause. Never had the system hang on me like that before...

Today I got in line behind a guy who purchased eight VRs, all for $24.95 each. In cash.
As dirty as I felt watching him do it, I also felt like thanking him. These are the people that make selling VRs at CVS profitable. Mike |

Of course you can buy <$1K at each store and not be concerned with the limit. But I'm in a small town and there are only 3 CVS stores within 25 miles of me. I don't have the option of visiting ten stores per day--and I don't want to spend the time and gas driving around to several stores per day.
I also don't want to try to get some cashier to break the rules and ring up my transactions separately. That could get him/her in trouble, and there's no reason to do that. Grasshopper, not to understand a man's purpose does not make him confused (as Master Po used to say... :) ). |

Seriously, can someone think of a reasonable explanation to buy 8 x $24.95 vs 1 x $199.60 ??? Even if this guy is InComm's target customer, this transaction still does not make any sense. |

May I ask... Do you use the same card or several ? Which one do you find the most rewarding at this time?

I have been having that problem at random. Dropped to 2x499 to avoid the scan. I don't care about the data track, but if their system is buggy, well, it brings back too many wal-mart kiosk flashbacks.

Had I seen that, I might have been so traumatized that I would have needed an emotional security animal on my next trip to CVS. Would then order said dog to bite him on the leg and/or pee on his iPad. ;)
Mike It's a great change of pace to be considered the non-weird customer at a CVS. |

... A few days ago a guy opened up a shampoo bottle in the store and started lathering up, no water, while continuing to shop. I understand it's hard to choose a WM, but there are a lot of CVSs... |
