CVS master thread(2013-2016)

Anyone been told that they could only do $1,000/day at CVS. I was used to the $1000/transaction, but not per day...

When does Hilton end the drug store bonus?

wpast Mar 19, 2013 11:52 am

Yes. 1k per day. But go in the morning and at night. People at night won't know you went in the morning. Your second question would be in May.

Stoughton Mar 19, 2013 11:55 am

While randomly enforced, it's been that way for a while at many stores

ctbarron Mar 19, 2013 12:08 pm

$1k per transaction has been the rule at most of mine. I've never tried to do the AM/PM thing. I doubt CVS has the systems in place to enforce a daily limit, other than by staff people recognizing you.

1K a day seems fair to me.

MNSWEEps Mar 19, 2013 12:39 pm

what exactly are you guys talking about? Spend $1k/ day in cvs?

Local CVSs have been writing your name and last 4 digits of the card (and type of card...) on a chart/clipboard. Ive asked each time how often i can come back and i've been told it's just to monitor once a day.

One however told me that after your name is on the list, you will need to get manager approval for all future purchases. She even said it's now required "by law" that they do it... highly doubt that but whatever, i got my stuff and went on my way.

Well that policy is going to cost them...limiting me to $1,000 in cadburry eggs a day is just silly.

Note to self... don't buy my VRs at your local CVS.

One of my local CVS's has been $1K per day for a while. The other one, which happens to be in a nicer part of town, is only limited to $1K per transaction. It sure does help to acquaint yourself with the cashiers.
