$1000 with fees. So I've been doing $495 load x 2 cards just to stay under $1000.

North Texas area continues to be stocked and ring up with no problems :)

Stupid question, is that $1000 per transaction with the fees or net? If with fees, are you guys getting $990 each time?

Back in the game after a summer in the sticks...

$1000 load amount. Fee is outside the calculation.

So you can do $500 + $499.95 and the register would not prompt for DL swipe if this is your question.

I...guess? I mean, assuming you're getting to the site by going to vanillareload.com, the risk of getting ripped off is pretty much nil. Seems pretty lame to wreck the usability of your site in order to provide a very slight fraud deterrent.

You only said you couldn't think of a single, even small, way the new website is better. I came up with exactly one, almost insignificant but slightly better thing about the new website ;). But that's all I got :D.

Fair enough, you answered my question and reinforced my point. :p

I suspect the system could do a round up at the last 3 pennies based on how CVS ExtraBuck reward and those $/$$ coupon is calculated. . ;)

For me I actually leave a whopping $0.50 on the table.

FWIW -- At my CVS, VRs don't seem to be restocked by outside vendor. Rather, they seem to come on the same truck as all the other merch. So, I tend to visit the store the morning after "truck day," once employees have put out the stuff that came in.

Why avoid giving them your DL?

1. Buying more than 5k in a day.

2. Tinfoil hat.

3. CVS's software can be flaky resulting in a transaction being cancelled/voided. This is the reason I dropped below the radar.
