Interesting check-in experience a couple of days ago. After looking at expertflyer I noticed that there was one set of three seats (short-haul flight) free so I decided to change my seat when checking in using the app. But the app showed that all the seats were taken. Then I browsed Finnair.com and the change was possible. Back to app and check-in was possible and the new seat was assigned. However, the app stated that mobile boarding pass was not allowed on my flight (it has been possible before). Back to Finnair.com and I could save my boarding pass in the Apple Wallet but only after skipping the Covid vaccination certificate (which I have but the last vaccination was 12 months ago). The fare was Business light, status OWE.

For some reason all free seats are not selectable in the app. It's always best to OLCI on a desktop browser.

I am currently unable to book on the Finnair website, each time getting this error after clicking to proceed to payment

I couldn't select J middle seat in manage booking as I had selected prefer window seat in my customer preference.

I think middle seats are not selectable, as those are left empty on purpose.

Forgot to add LH flight in A350.

This seems to happen when I have selected my free seats during the booking. Skipping seat selection usually helps when this is occurring for some strange reason.
(And before AY IT jumps in: yes, I have cleared caches, restarted browser, computer and installed the latest versions of the browsers.)

Ok anyone with this issue before?

I am to book my return oneway and need a specific flight, it is scheduled and an hour ago available for sale, and now when coming back to booking it after I did other arrangements in the meanwhile, neither app nor browser offers it anymore. I chatted with CS and they said also the flight is there and they can see it open for booking, seats available.
Why I cannot see it for booking?
I must use company res channel, otherwise I would have asked the agent to book it for me.

Does anyone else have problems updating info in trips using AY.com MMB?
I see trips with wacko prefixes for contact phone, but correcting it and saving leads to "something went wrong" and chages are not saved.
At one point changes were saved but the FF# was removed from reservation instead.

Not MMB, but with Amadeus OLCI: "too many connections" error for me.

EDIT: Amadeus seems to be responding fine now. Not sure if this issue was just for me.

The new seat map view is really annoying, just my opinion

Another great show from AY IT. Manage my booking says check in is open at 65 hours before the flight. Clicking the link leads to check in page saying it will open 36 hours before.

Hmm... since when has AY flight booking site included the flight plan in JSON in the URI/URL? Might be possible to use for own multicity booking tuning maybe?
