Points from my flight back to Europe just posted twice. That means I now have an extra 25k tier and award points. Not that I would normally complain, but since this is something that would probably be corrected on an audit round, and I am in the last month of my tracking period to renew my status and having to convert award miles into status...

Had this before, however it was quickly fixed, IIRC mine was within 48 hours

Just act as those extra 25k never were there, as simple as that.

App claims there’s a 15 min wait for T2 Prio security at the moment. Is this really true?

Ed Size Mar 5, 2020 7:15 am

Just checked a upcoming flight, could not change the seats back to the original booked one - AY put me from 1A to 2A - since 1A is a exit row. System just did nothing. But then I discovered that for the return flight I was waitlisted on, my booking class showed all of the sudden U - but in the app I m still on the old seat - also on the net the seat is still 12A economy. Can I rise my hopes that the upgrade cleared?

I think it shows first on the app (U) than it updates elsewhere. And I would have thought they all use the same backend... but this is AY IT, so...

There certainly have been longer queues now due to the new electronics policy, so I'd imagine closer to 15 minutes might be possible during the afternoon rush hour. I've now been flying during weekday mornings and afternoons and only now realized that even the prio security gets quite busy!

I still don’t know what you should take out and what not. My electronics consist of a phone and a laptop + chargers. I routinely take them out as the phone is in my pocket and the laptop is a large electronic device.

I haven’t taken the chargers out, and nobody has said anything. Didn’t see anyone else putting cables on the trays either.

So should chargers be in or out, and is this one of those rules nobody cares about?

I understood that anything with a battery needs to be taken out.

Which is sort of true. It probably should be taken out. I had a Jabra-speaker, which contains a battery, in my backpack and simply forgot about it. Did anyone react? No. It would be very interesting to know the reasoning behind the new rules, given that Finavia seems to be the only airport operator that at least I have encountered that have this rule.

I wonder if anyone who has carried adult toys, with batteries, for their overnight trip has ran into peculiar situations...

So hmm, did anybody successfully rebook a ticket under the Covid waiver? For me, it just says

You can change your travel date for a Finnair operated flight free of charge due to current changes and disruptions in our flights. Please contact our customer service if you have bought your ticket directly from Finnair. For other bookings, please contact your travel agent.
The change flight button is nowhere, and the message looks clickable, but it's not.

I'm guessing that you can change only if none of the segments are unconfirmed  beats me why.

I did change one last week, for a flight hmm...3 hour earlier than original flight. It worked fine, new ticket came instantly.

Currently I have one booking for next week, not cancelled yet and I can see change flight button but I am not going to press it as I currently can't decide on future travel date. Just waiting for it to be cancelled.

With a cancelled segment?

There is a cancel button, which I fear I'll have to press when I fail to reach CS before flight closing time. But the change flight button is gone (and I mean gone: this was a Value ticket, so there always was a button, even before COVID).
