I changed from AY918 to AY916 as I was early enough at the Airport to catch 916.

Could be. My reservation shows up as usual, but the flights are not bookable anymore (and will be cancelled as per AY's notice today).

I noticed today that when the regular multi-city booking tool is not able to function properly, this link provides a tool to make a simple Helsinki stop-over max. 5 days in both directions:

Of course, doesn't help with open-jaws or anything complex, but worked fine all the way to booking without any problems with a XXX-HEL-BKK-HEL-XXX with stop overs at HEL both ways.

So today's message from Finnair confirmed my hypothesis. You can only rebook via MMB if flights are not (yet) cancelled.

Bottom line:

• if you want to refund, wait
• if you want to reschedule, do not wait

Seeing the seat map suggests some bad news: Just in case your ticket says C, I'd believe you were rebooked to Cargo this time.

This could be either of two things:

A) these are the seats you can expect to sit on with the new Business Light concept

B) AY finally listened to this forum and has reconfigured their planes with an innovative and market-leading Äijät Juo Kaljaa -cabin near that already hugely popular 58Ö seat. Due to popular demand, this cabin will be 7-abreast.

a third option comes to mind:

C) In the process of re-configuration to PE they have finalized the removal of seats. However, due to a unforeseen cashflow problem, installation of new seats have been postponed. The fringe benefit is that travellers can now freely roam the entire cabin and put their pic-nic blanket at a safe distance from others, while enjoying a cabin free from filthy armrests. ;)

Meanwhile FR has started their real Seats sale, and reviewed revenue potential for after-covid times.

Buying a FR ticket is worse than a lottery ticket. In a lottery there is at least a chance to win out.

Did the option to pay with voucher vanish? I only see "Your cards", "Use another card" and "Internet banks" (or whatever the new name is) options... How I'm supposed to spend those Covid-19 vouchers :confused:
