That is one way ticket and searched as one way.

The consumer rights authority might be interested in that being advertised as the "lowest price". Incompetent IT department is not an acceptable excuse.

In the department of WTH are you smoking finnair...? It was ok 2 days ago, now total amount has been reduced BUT finnair specific amount is still correct.

I am just wondering where you all can see your tier points?

I have never qualified by segments, but Finnair IT seems to have decided against showing tier points anywhere in my account.

Another feature in this endless series of glitches. Two passengers on same PNR, both AY Plats, both upgraded to J, Value ticket, long haul flight to Asia. App says 2pcs of hand luggage and 4 checked bags, for both. Online check-in and boarding pass says 3 checked bags for one but only 2 for the other passenger. So, for same flight and reservation 3 different versions of checked baggage allowance :o

Finnair net pages say that correct baggage allowance is always shown on the ticket, but in reality it never is shown correctly for tier members and in case of upgrade, now it seems that even the app can't be trusted anymore, not even for their own flights! I really hope that their flight operations software are totally separate from their IT in other operations.

Hate the log in so much.
log in requires the sms to be sent but that sms seldom arrives. Trying different browsers but is is all luck when the sms arrives. Mad.

Help! Please

Anyone an idea why is this and a solution?

This sms issue has been on and off last year and i have patiently just clicked so many times during logging in that I get the one-time sms code, but now I cannot log in at all due to never getting the sms despite any browser, device, update, whatever.
going mad.
called AY, they are clueless.
Can this be a network mobile provider DNA issue or my iphone?

I don't know how to help with your current situation, but once you are able to log in, I'd recommend you change this. Are you relying on SMS for two-factor authentication? It's considered an insecure method. You should really use an authenticator app. The recommended one is Authy, as it lets you create backups of your keys, unlike the Google one.

Or use password manager (such as 1Password) which supports TOTP. This way it is enough to go into Finnair login page, press the hot key for 1Password, it fills the username/password and generates the new passcode which is copied ready to use into the clipboard, in the next screen when Finnair login asks for the code, you just paste the code.

I think the other competing products also support the same, not just 1Password. The benefit with password managers is that you can then store also your passwords in the same app and other information (like passport details etc.).

Sounds too complicated for a simple man. Thats why I chose sms back then. So easy, just click and insert the code. And how one could hack my phone just for that? Teach me...:)

An authenticator app is no more complicated than an SMS, you install it on your phone, and when you first enable it from the provider's page (such as AY's webpage), you enter a one-time code, usually done just by scanning the screen for a code. After this it works just like SMS: at login, it will ask for a number code (instead of sending one actively), you open your authenticator app, it will show you what the number code is, and punch it in. It's more reliable because it doesn't depend on an SMS being sent. And more importantly, the security aspect: there are several ways that an SMS can be intercepted. It's a very old protocol made without any concerns about security. An authenticator app doesn't depend on receiving anything from the other side and is much harder to hack into.

Overall, true. A small complication is that the code from the auth app is very shortlived. Denpending on where in the cycle you enter the app, you might only have seconds to enter the code. (or wait for expiration and have a new code issued)

Good authenticator applications will show how long you have lifetime left for the current token. So if you see only 1-2 seconds, you could also wait for the next token and use that instead. One additional benefit from authenticator applications is that those work also in the airplanes, SMS is more challenging in this context.

In Sweden between GRAND TOTAL and TOTAL is 403 SEK. Is it 403 Forbidden error or hidden Greta-Tax.
