Mobile app lost all buttons again. Meal, seat, extra baggage and upgrade options are missing from my all upcoming flights.

Problems with AY have increased remarkably within last two or three months. I am crediting to BA and 75 % of flights do not credit even claiming them afterwards. Are anyone else facing the same problem? Also seat reservation on travel agent bookings is missing, can't find the button on we site or on OS mobile app. I occasionally upgrade my intra-European AY flights with my AY points. Last two upgrades went nicely through but then it was cancelled 24 h before departure. This was again booked by TA. Any advice how to handle these when AY customer service is fully occupied?

How is it possible that when I enter the chat queue, there are 9 ahead. And a minute later there are 11 ahead of me. Suddenly two Lumos want to chat with AY? I don't think so...

I asked the agent. His reply: "Chattijono ei priorisoi tasojäseniä. Jonon numeron muutos voi johtua todennäköisesti siitä, että virkailijoiden määrä on muuttunut.”
So there's no priority, which seems strange. I still don't understand how the number of agents changing could mean that my place in the queue gets worse. If there are five agents and I'm #9, then how does my position get worse if the number of agents changes to seven or three? I should still be #9, albeit with a longer or shorter queue time. |

I got an email and an SMS from AY that my flight in 2 hours is full and they told to check in luggage. It’s wide open in EF with X9 etc..and I’m in J with only 2 seats taken, Y looks this:

I've had this on ARN flight. They told me that I could check in my cabin bag free of charge. Ignored it and boarded in Group 1. The flight was full, though, but they didn't need to gate check any bags. Maybe people believed the SMS?

I have gotten those messages quite often for some time now, never followed the advice though.
But for example, not long ago (well around 5months) at LHR they did gate check a LOT of carry ons, ahead of me they took everything on wheels. My wheels stayed with me and made cranky older "gentleman" question the gate agent: hey! why did he get to keep his bag and I didn´t!?! Didn´t stay to listen what he answered but I guess my plat card saved me. flight (321) was full to the last seat and it was damn good they took those bags at the gate, no chance we would have departed on time if they would started sorting that onboard. |
