Got through on the chat to an actual human in a few minutes and he confirmed that there had indeed been a technical malfunction in the tier updates last night causing quite a few accounts being a mess with totally wrong tiers showing.
promised that it would be fixed by tomorrow afternoon.

I also went to basic and back. But: I have also lost all seat reservations during the process which kinda sucks because of the extra work of rebooking them.

Thanks for pointing this out. I had lost most of my seat assignments, though not all of them, but managed to rebook everything. Took a while, though.

thanks for the heads up, I lost all my seats too and since Im traveling with +1 it really sucks! Was able to get some of my seats back but lost alot of premium seat selections, wow this sucks

I guess I got lucky, all my booked seats stayed untouched by this. ok, I only have a couple of bookings so wouldn't had been that big of a deal but anyway.
My Gold popped back in the app a few hours after my talk on the chat so no 24 hour wait as advised by the person I chatted with.

I'm pretty sure there is nothing to worry about, but it feels uncomfortable that this is happening right at a time when I'm expecting to make a soft landing to Gold. Everyone is talking about the soft landing as a sure thing, but it, nevertheless, is an unofficial perk.

Hmm, not sure if this is Iberia IT or Finnair IT, but my Emerald status is not showing on Iberia’s website/app. My wife’s Sapphire is ok. And with only the 5 digit code from Iberia, I can’t add the reservation to the AY app.

Those IB 5 digit codes is a pain in the a**. Don't expect to get the flight credited automatically either. Anyway, don't know if it is possible to get status recognition online. At check in they will honour your status if you have bags to check-in. Also lounge invitation will work with printed BP.
I did read somewhere that IBs 5 digits PNRs comes from an older reservation system that IB is running on the side of the normal reservation system.

Just flew in to PTY with IB; my travel agency provided me also with a six-digit ”normal” booking code and with that, no problem to add my plat status / add the reservation to Finnair app.

few months ago tried to get 6 digit code via chat/phone but didn’t succeed. On phone service they were able to place my correct AY statusnumber to the reservation however

Every now and then. The page logs itself out and refuses to log back in again, claiming the password is wrong. Then miraculously in an hour or two it works again. I've had this happen several times.
