friend of mine tried to book DFW-HEL-MUC, as he saw 2 J-seats on DFW-HEL available. He ran into the Problem, that Online he only get a HEL-MUC flight on the next morning.
A few times it shows the direct connection on the same day, but when he try to book, the Website stated „something went wrong“-Message. So he got in touch with CS, who could not help and send the Problem to the next Department. They came back to him and say that they have Fix the Problem, but unfortunately there is no longer any J-Award on AY20 available :eek: |
Partner flight credit sometimes take forever to post. Did a lot of AA flying this year, and some took several months to post. At the end of December, I ended up having to convert award points to tier points to qualify for Plat. Two days later, 2k points from two AA legs in April posted to my account... I didn't even realize they hadn't posted in the first place--my bad, I guess.

I asked Whatsapp why I couldn't find my booking in the app or on mmb at ay.com.
"It is a known error bla bla... that some bookings isn't possible to open online. It is under investigation and they hope to fix it asap". |

Recently, something fun/bizarre happened. We had Avios tickets (BA redemption) for ZRH-HEL. They were booked in early 2022.
Then my wife changed her last name in autumn 2022, so we had to go through the fun of changing her name everywhere. She obviously also changed her BAEC account name. We then contacted BA to change her ticket's name. This was quite the hassle and required few calls to get to the right agent. In the process, they had to split the PNR and finally she got a new confirmation, with the new name and a new PNR. Fast forward to the day of flight. 1 row of J, 4 seats taken according to EF. Though 1C never showed. When the crew came to welcome us, I glanced at her phone and turns out my wife's original booking was still there and then probably turned out to be a no show in AY systems. I could even use her wifi by using her maiden name and 1C. :D |

might be also tricky by IT so not sure if reasonable to blaim much on either BA or AY but just take it as life comes. Not that u blaimed, just wondering aloud here. |
