Homemade Fish-fragrant eggplant with a tad too much meat and too much laoganma sauce. Should go well with the fried rice I plan on making tomorrow.

BamaVol Jr #1 and spouse celebrated their 16th anniversary this past weekend. I sent him money to make dinner. He grilled ginger soy king salmon and made summer squash fried rice. There was also a bottle of Oregon Sauvignon Blanc (Capitello) and a peach pie from the farmers market.

I’m posting since I paid for it. I’m not taking credit for his kitchen skills though. He cooked professionally for a number of years.

The ones I had were. I just didn't have an appetite last night as things had me busy most of the day and eating properly (which I should be doing) just wasn't what I was up for.

Grilled octopus is awesome as long as it is freshly grilled... One of the best places to try it is at a good Greek restaurant.

I love grilled octopus! The best that Ive ever had was in Barcelona. Simply prepared, not overcooked (the mistake that most cooks make) delicious!
