Imperial Super Duck dinner

Besides below , we enjoyed crispy whitebait , steamed fish - patin and part 2 of the Peking duck - minced duck wrapped in lettuce , ..

Then home for mooncakes from Ritz Carlton and tarts from Tarte for desserts



Hot and sour soup - really spicy

Scrambled crabmeat egg white

Peking duck

Readying - note the sugar & sweet sauce

One of my favorite places in the world. Have you ever had their pizza? It's pretty incredible too - dripping with cheese. And speaking of cheese, provoleta! Mmmm.

I hadn't been there since 2008 until Monday. Never had the pizza. And I haven't ordered provoleta in ages. I need at least 2 others to share it with!

Some of our dinner included nasi lemak with fried chicken wings , fried kway teow , chicken and prawn laksa from Colonial Club and savouries below from Imperial Treasure - poached kailan / Chinese broccoli , .. home-cooked fried long beans scrambled with eggs , ..



Sliced Angus beef cjok / congee


Tang chye ( little boat / sampan / skip ) cjok / congee


Wanton noodles and suay kow dumplings soup


Celebrating August birthdays 🎉

Probably no reason to have the pizza (other than as an appetizer to be shared) unless one goes often enough to not have steak.

Charcoal grilled halibut & cod (marinated briefly in olive oil, lemon pepper, garlic salt, cardamom ), assorted roasted vegetables, blueberry muffins, fresh strawberries, Diet Dr Pepper -- and homemade key lime cookie for dessert
