Mod hat on: The prior two-decades old thread was getting unwieldy....

Leftover chili and refried beans to make nachos

It will depend on what’s open. Last night I suggested a midday meal out because tonight more rough weather is forecast and we will want to be near our places of safety when the sirens go off. My expectation is Struts or Jefferson’s for wings and beer.

Not seen are the black eyed peas my parents ate earlier as I don't cook black eyed peas. They're lucky I cooked collards this afternoon as I don't like to make them either

Jeffersons. Local blood orange IPA, jerk wings and a club sandwich.

Ahhhhhthe southern tradition. Pork, greens and black eyed peas as the the first meal of the New Year. I do the same, courtesy of my Dads side of the family. I did pork chops, sweet greens and coconut black eyed peas. My brother does chitlins in his household. No way Im doing that!!! Best wishes!!!
