From last night's visit to Pisco y Nazca with my girlfriend and an AFFer (Australian FFer) in Washington D.C. Below is their restaurant week menu which was delicious and probably way too much food....but well worth it!
The meal began with the ceviche, empanada de aji de gallina and causa crocante (panko shrimp).

Next up was the tostones sampler (pulled pork, crab salad and shrimp).

I chose the pescado a lo macho (traditional Peruvian crispy fish, shrimp, calamari, mussels, and spicy cream sauce)

Dessert was the 'el clasico', an arroz con leche custard.

The meal was outstanding and I thought a great value for $55. The inclusion of the three pisco sours seemed to make it an even better deal.

Dinner at the Amex CL in IAH— fried chicken tenders with mashed potatoes, green beans and a green salad topped with olives and carrots. Dessert is a peach panna cotta.

More from the leftover pot of beans with some "not leftover" Italian sausage and cheese, followed by some TJ's cheesecake enlivened with bananas flambeed with brown sugar and apple brandy.

Plus some Nepali papads

Carbonara pizza at Grosso in Madrid - decent, but very rich - some of the pork chunks were far too large and chewy:

Takeaway pork-bone soup (감자탕) from a nearby food court. Pretty good value in terms of meat (more meat/soup than I had rice for so had to make more). Would have strained out some of the peppercorns (or what appeared to be peppercorns).
