gaobest Have you done the AYCE at Ohgane in Oakland? Wondering how it compares to Seoul Kalbi.

We had a FT dinner at one of the charcoal BBQ places on Geary several years back. It was excellent...

Speaking of Korean bbq, anyone tried Woo Lae Ok (I'm sure I've botched the spelling here) in LA's Korean town? Not sure if it's still there, but I use to frequent it when I spent some time there.

Nope. haha... This was at State and Main.

I love the Ohgane menu food - I’ve never had the bbq unless the kitchen cooks it. I love ohgane and it was the first Korean restaurant I visited in Oakland. There are now other great Korean spots on Telegraph so there’s just so much choice.
