Oh believe me, I know how common it's been in many restaurants for 10 years or so. Thankfully seems to be subsiding lately.

I love cilantro. But I would have to think twice about adding it to that combination. It just feels like a step too far. Otherwise, I would be stealing bites from your plate when you werent looking.

very common asian mix of flavors..also in there was soy, garlic, thai sweet chili sauce, rice wine vinegar....all blended together.
get your own plate.

Tonight's dinner is a very special treat for the corkster.
I defrosted 2 slices of pizza that I brought back from NYC a couple months ago. I am heating them up on the grill and I am in heaven.

Visited a local produce shop today and was inspired to make a horiatiki. In addition to the evoo, I also use lemon juice for tartness. While the tomato wasn't so great, the rest came together nicely.

Dinner: salad with mystery chicken. I found a bag in the freezer and couldnt tell what was in it. I decided whatever it was; poultry, meat, fish, it was going on top of a salad. I vaguely recall cooking these breasts. It was moist and delicious and well seasoned.
