Last night’s bean and sausage soup with an orphan toasted brioche I forgot about in the freezer and this morning’s everything croissant toast with ricotta cheese, balsamic heirloom tomatoes, and subtlety licorice-y fennel fronds.

I’m cleaning out the freezer as we get ready to leave for a month. I found a tube of Butterball turkey breakfast sausage and made patties out of a third of it. Fried a couple eggs as well. It tastes nothing like pork breakfast sausage - just not seasoned the same apparently.

I pizza-fied some leftover roasted baby potatoes for breakfast. I sprinkled with oregano and topped with mozzarella and then heated them in the toaster oven.
