You all must have better metabolisms than I do. I don't average 10 miles a day..maybe about 4 or 5-- the same as I do here on most days.

I had a leftover chicken breast, so I made curried chicken salad.

I bought Japanese curry roux cubes, S&B and Vermont, for the first time a few weeks ago. I pulled them out of the cupboard tonight and, after reading the instructions, realized I bought the wrong kind of S&B! I bought a heat and eat sauce packet with potatoes, carrots, and onions. I added more carrots, some cauliflower, and peas.

I went to a family event with catered soft taco stuff, rice, beans, salad, and salsas. I took a serving spoon of each of the three meats and skipped the taco making part. It was especially good because I didn’t cook it.

Final dinner in Florence was on Friday's night and we had the Bistecca alla Fiorentina, the seafood Risotto, and several pasta dishes at Trattoria del Pennello. As usuall, the food was great and ambiance & service were unpretentious!

I love Bistecca fiorentina so much - ate it often during our wedding weekend and the days leading up to it.

HOW best to cook it at home? Prime rib eye steak?

It is not made with a rib-eye. It is porterhouse or t-bone.

I’ve said here a dozen or so times, I’m terrrrible at baking. Case in point, the nectarine pluot cake I tried to make yesterday. You’d never guess there was a beautiful pinwheel pattern of sliced fruit on top. 😂

And this morning’s breakfast of andouille sausage with purple potatoes and cauliflower. Oops, a tad overdone in the air fryer.

Did u cook everything together in the air fryer? You might have better luck cooking things with different required times separately or added in sequentially (eg sausage first, vegs added in after some time had passed maybe potato first, then later cauliflower)?

Tonight, we went to Osteria al Portego for dinner and drinks - €38 just for the Cicchettis, drinks (2 Fantas, one Spritz, and one water), and coperta! Dinner was good but they tried (or it was a mistake) to get extra 17 ($20) from us! I wouldn't let it go and had them change the amount charged to my credit card to a total of €125!

Sorry for the bad lighting in the photos but still we were not impressed with this food - skip!

I did the potatoes and cauliflower at the same time for 20 minutes then added the sausage and an extra ten minutes.
