I promise I tried to read through this.

What's the current Delta service model on Premium Select international (ATL to CDG to be exact) Trying to decide between this flight and flying up to JFK for the daytime flight on Virgin to LHR and then train to Paris.

I am not to worried about food, but I would like a drink/snack (I will eat before I board. I am not a fan of any of the offerings on Delta even in D1 )

Thanks!

I certainly don't know, but I can't believe you'd choose ATL-JFK-LHR-(ground to train)-PAR over ATL-CDG non-stop for food. EDIT: Actually you said you don't care about food, so why on earth would you take this ridiculous itinerary over the nonstop??

Food is not the deciding factor. Daytime flight is VERY appealing. (it's also a lot cheaper ) I am actually trying to convince myself that PS overnight won't be bad. I have done the daytime flight when it was out of BOS and found it much nicer. So I am looking for positives for the ATL to CDG flight in PS Plus it's not really ATL to CDG. It's ATL to AMS to CDG.

I was more curious if I was gong to get any service. Flew ATL to CDG a few months ago in D1 No idea about service going over I slept. coming back on AF was sad. FAs made one trip with lunch and they were done!

i'd spend a day or two in London if I do go that route. Plus the flights from JFK to LHR and return LHR to ATL are on Virgin so I may see if I get lucky with a mileage upgrade at least one way

And its all irrelevant. Found a non stop from Boston to LHR in D1 for just a few dollars more Works out great as I have a reason to be there before the trip so will just leave from there to LHR

We'll be ATL to LHR in Premium Select late June. I'd like to know this, also, if anyone has experienced it. For a 9:55 pm departure, meal service is showing "Dinner, Snacks, Drinks, Anytime Snack". Delta One tickets show "Dinner, Breakfast, Premium Snacks, Drinks" making me think we'll be getting a very different meal than Delta One, or not a hot meal.

If the recent trend holds, you'll get the same hot (and cold) meals served to the rest of the economy cabin. Will be different from Delta One.

IAH-LGA, DL1227.

FEBO observed, which is why I picked 3C. Unfortunately, the FA said the oven was inop so breakkie was corn flakes, fruit/cheese plate, or the derided oatmeal. ETA the picture. I went with the fruit/cheese plate, which was a pretty decent amount of food.

This helps. I'm the only one in the family gluten free. Delta One hot GF are horrible (pre-covid) so I wasn't planning to request it for PS. Economy international GF are better than the normal meals. I'll likely put in the request for a GF meal unless I see Premium Select going back to hot in this thread. Thanks

Preorder options for SFO-BOS Dinner tonight (this was a last minute booking, but it gave me the preorder option as I booked at T-25)

DL1202 BOS-SFO First Class May 20, 2022

This was a close-in booking so I did not get to preorder. PDB of prosecco was offered.

Options offered onboard were an egg white omelette, or an egg tortilla. I chose the omelette.

The omelette had spinach and tomatoes in it. It came with a side of sweet chicken sausage, and mushrooms. Not pictured is the croissant that was served after I began eating. Side of fruit and chia pudding.

DL1708 SFO-BOS First Class May 20, 2022. Since my preselection was for DL374, it didn't follow me when I SDC'ed onto this flight.

So, by the time the FA got to me, the short ribs were all claimed. So, I opted for the chicken, which was the right choice as it seemed a lot more substantial than the short rib.

The chicken was nice and tender, and the kale was surpringly good. The salad was a farro salad with pickled onions and carrots. The blueberry mousse bar was tasty as well.
