I was either #3 or #5 on the upgrade list (vague for privacy reasons) and I didn’t use an RUC…. so at most either 2 or 4 used certs… because no one after me could have used a cert. it is also possible no one in front t of me did either 😜

The post you're replying to was 10/12; but I was on your flight that left yesterday, and landed today with 16 upgrades! - Surprisingly, I was quite a bit ahead of you on the list; and I was X fare... do you not have the DL Reserve card? You're DM right? [edit to correct, this was a purchased ticket, not award, but still X fare]

I though I'd be at the bottom of the barrel for DMs with a lowly X fare (can't get any lower) - I wonder how I possibly trumped you by several spots- and I had all sorts of issues checking in - "can't request upgrade after check-in", "no electronic ticket attached etc." - so it took me hours to check-in for the flight - though I think that is the very last tie-breaker.

1. solicitations and offers of trades/giveaways go in Coupon Connection: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/coupon-connection-373/
(I believe, you need a min # of posts and amount of time on FT before it becomes accessible, similar to the ability to edit wikis)

2. RUCs and GUCs can only be used to upgrade companions traveling on the same PNR or a linked PNR, so you're probably aiming for a very narrow target

I'm 2/3 on DL as a Silver medallion this year. Have 8 flights coming up in the next 3 weeks so interested to see what happens.
