Do you know your Myers-Briggs categorization?
I almost always get ESFP. Got ENFP once, I think. |

Depending on how I brushed my teeth that day or the brand of coffee I drank I'm ESTP or ISTP.

I don't buy into MB, it can change too easily and it doesn't measure strenght of preference.

There was a big wave of takers of the Facebook M-B test a couple weeks ago, at least among my friends. It was really interesting to see all the different results; I was probably most surprised by the percentage of I's - way higher than I'd expected, for some reason.

There are a few big draw backs to the MBTI test on Facebook. One it only has about half the questions the real assement has and second it doesn't indicate your preference clarity. The E and the I are very slight for me, that's why I can bounce back and forth on that.
The super-long test I took back in college also gave an indication of how extreme your answer was in each category. I was about 49/51 N/S, a slightly stronger F, a distinct P...and 90+% E. Anyone who knows me should not be at all surprised by the last one. :D |
I had to take a number of these full batteries for our Uncle. Career results came up with the following three:
A. Ship captain B. Base commander C. Pilot I still have many of these reports in my files. |

I only go in there once or twice a year, always in my hometown, when my mother decides we have to go while I'm out running errands with her. Any of those pictures could have been taken in my hometown. Their local supermarket is equally bad.
I should upload a few camera phone pics of the wonderful crap their local Wal-Mart was peddling for Christmas last year.

I'm not big into SPG either (at least not at the moment) but I don't think it is a SPG-centric event, outside from the Sheraton hosting a reception and a few other things StarwoodLurker is cooking up. The rest of it seems to be general FT/AUS/Texas stuff and that is always good for me. It would be nice to get a good box contingent (ALCO, The Wizard of Fozz, Hartmann, colpuck, me, you, etc) there as well and show these people how to do 6th street properly. :) So, you should come. My better half is excited about the prospect, heh.

Thanks, I desperately need it. God I hate engineering. Two on-line applications tomorrow and then the weekend figuring out the essay questions for a GS-14 postion with questions like "Provide specific examples that describe your ability to explain technical concepts and complex issues in a convincing manner, negotiate with others, and you ability to facilitate and influence solution with a diverse internal or external audience."
Plus1 says hi to teh box. He's got his sticks packed and just some last minute stuff to do in the a.m. Sadly, we're leaving behind a sick child (which always seems to happen right before we leave on vacation or a long trip), but hopefully it's just a cold. She'll be missing school and I'm hopefully following protocol in the email I write tomorrow. All these rules I have to learn. I am tired. |
I have looked at this one numerology thing that was freaky how accurate it was. I also looked up other peoples stuff and it was spot on with them too. For me it said I'm effed when you read between the lines.

Under any circumstances, the last time that I recall that he had Starwood involved in a Do (more than just getting a group rate) was at San Antonio a couple of years ago and the Westin truly laid out the red carpet for us (SPG and non-SPG types alike) with special parties and all kinds of other goodies. I think that this will be more like SAT than SEA because the latter has been tightly planned for years but this one will be left to his stewardship. |
