Very nice!!

Just received my custom-made Oakleys with "kingalien" etched on the lens :cool:.

Yeah, I'm full of myself :D.

They generally don't work when you place them between a rock and a hammer head.

I'm actually flying on WN on my NYE trip back from LAS, merely due to current airfare.

DL policy changed after your trip to align with AF/KL - beer and wine are indeed free. Liquor (including my bourbon) still requires payment.

Super 80 every time I've flown that route.

True. However, there are items to note:

A. I lose my phone stipend with the job change (phones cost money);
B. I take a salary hit with the job change (phones cost money);
C. I would (for some reason) need to call for emergency assistance the moment my phone was disabled. That's life.

Danke. Still toying with the :-:Wood AUS Do even though I'm not a :-:Wood guy. It's a city off the list with friends and BBQ. Nothing wrong with that, I say.

Super-80s or the occasional 737 or 757.

I guess you wanted out pretty bad to give up having your phone paid for and for taking the hit you did.

I still wonder why they decided to call them "Super 80s". They are hardly super and they have no cape. Every time I hear the term I think it's some kind of tampon. A tampon with wings, I wonder where the marketing slogan came from.

In other news, I just got spammed by Claudio.

I think they provide one free drink with the meal service, but that's it.

When they first came out in 1980, the plane was known as a DC-9 Super 80. It was super compared to the rest of the DC-9's with their bright fresh new style interior. They were also super long compared to other DC-9's

This, of course, in diametric opposition to The Wizard of Fozz.
