TY, TY. I just wish I would have done it prior to my other 2 stays in July/August. The deciding factor was our Athens trip next June-July.

Bye Bye Hilton, I hate you...

Good to see you enjoyed the LM Khao Lak, sdm1130. It is an amazing property. How did you enjoy W Seoul Walkerhill and teh DMZ?

Amazing indeed! I'm still surprised by your comment on preferring a suite over a villa - any particular reason(s)?

The W Seoul Walkerhill was also excellent! Our view from that property was also quite nice.

The DMZ tour was alright. It rained on and off most of the day and part of the DMZ was closed for construction so we did not go to Checkpoint 3. For some reason, they also skipped Dorasan station (:td:). The JSA and infiltration tunnel were both interesting though.

Excellent! More is more! Like I said, I'll start a thread on the event in the next few weeks.

 to the lady arguing over the premium wines cost when she agreed to the cost before. And even says the wine is very good.

I'm on a FULLY PACKED Amtrak regional train to Neuva York. We haven't even hit Trenton yet and we are standing room only. Is that even allowed? :-:

It's not supposed to happen. They could be short a car or you have one of those trains that are made up of only Business Class cars so it has less seats and everyone in coach doesn't realized they can use the all but the one actual business class car.

I've been wanting to do that for years but now one wanted to commit far enough in advance and then they were shocked that you need a passport and that it cost money to travel and they have to take time of from work, etc. :p to them.

Don't I wish!!! Unfortunately I have ZERO control over when I might go. Our corporate HQ is just outside of Munich and I hear that's the place to be for Oktoberfest :(

How many people are taking up 2 seats by not putting their bag up on the rack? On a full train, that's a very  thing to do. Amtrak doesn't oversell trains on the NE corridor and is only over capacity if there's an equipment problem or cancelation and there's overflow because of it.

I am on train 148. I think there about 5 cars including business and teh snack car. I am in the last car now and it seems a lot of riders departed at Trenton.

Oh OK. I guess the one drink with the meal service thing was one of the previous versions of their service. I never can keep up with DL. They change so often.
