So are you going to enlighten us?

You should know better than to call WE-DONT-CARE.

If anyone is looking to visit Thailand in the future, I highly recommend the LM in Khao Lak and one of their oceanfront pool villas. This was our view last week... :)

Very nice and would be a lot better place to be than work today.

When is the NWA WC closing? Are they moving the flights as well? Any word about UA/US/CO at DCA?

Well work has been long today and now my eyes have decided to go all Wobbly Bonkers. UGH!

PRG DO

So I'm thinking about joining y'all in PRG in January. Those of you who know me know this is a big deal given my international travel history (see pathetically domestic FM below). While Teh Box may be full of *wood fans, I think if I go, I'll be staying at a Marriott property. Has anyone booked flights yet? Are y'all doing reward travel or paid? If paid, are you flying in Y or upgrading? Will I need a new liver upon my return to the states?

But I am at work -- just not at work's usual location :p

IIERC, the IAD club told me yesterday that it's closing October 15. I think this one is on the same schedule. All the DL flights at DCA are moving to B/C. I'll be here for a while. I'll see if I can pop downstairs and ask some more pointed questions.

PRG is wonderful. You really should go!

Good to see you enjoyed the LM Khao Lak, sdm1130. It is an amazing property. How did you enjoy W Seoul Walkerhill and teh DMZ?

I will be there on a scouting mission next weekend. It will begin my 4-Month, 100K BIS crazyfly odyssey... which can't come soon enough, because there's more  than I can shake a stick at right now, coming in from all corners.

I recommend bringing a spare to swap in for the time in PRG and then reverting to your regular liver upon return.

I'm not big into SPG either (at least not at the moment) but I don't think it is a SPG-centric event, outside from the Sheraton hosting a reception and a few other things StarwoodLurker is cooking up. The rest of it seems to be general FT/AUS/Texas stuff and that is always good for me. It would be nice to get a good box contingent (ALCO, The Wizard of Fozz, Hartmann, colpuck, me, you, etc) there as well and show these people how to do 6th street properly. :) So, you should come. My better half is excited about the prospect, heh.

RE: The DCA WorldClub, one employee told me she doesn't know and then muttered about losing her job when it does close. Another told me she'd heard that it might be at the end of October. That said, it's a question of when, not if.

Remember, gang -- there is no such thing as being too hard on him regarding this!

Steph3n Aug 27, 2009 2:55 pm

looks like rental prices finally going down to reality. My rental in Sept in FLL is going to cost less for a week and a day than it did for more last 48 hour trip!
