I can't say I am surprised at considering with the amount of money that UA stands lose per-ticket. It is completely possible UA pulls some stuff.

Just added my last few flights to FM.

Gnite box.

Laying down to rest for a few hours earlier this evening was not a good idea.

Reports of shenannigans would dissappear overnight and the knowledge level & work ethic at CO would increase dramatically.

Thank you for the kind words. You made me blush.

Still haven't gotten any word about clearing the waitlist for the class I am required to attend for the area I wish to work in. I'm a bit calmer now....of course I'm home from work and off for the next two days. :)

I forgot to apologize for you from xyzzy and the effect of it now is a bit less :D since you left for work not because of his post anyway :)

I am in IAH now, and so glad the Pclubs here have showers, was a great way to start the day!

Had fun visiting with the staff in the PClub there at SFO as well. Scott is also an aerogeek :)

If I stay in downtown I'll probably be at the Marriott (unless an aloft magically pops up). The Sheraton there has never been one of my favorite properties.

Fortunately I haven't seen much in the way of brawls, but 6th street is a bit crazy.

The Sheraton has treated me well so I can't complain.

That's not unusual. The online refund tool is hit or miss. Just call and ask them to refund it.

.bomb throws the silliest errors. I encounterd multiple errors just trying to link MP FFN to an existing ticket, then trying to upgrade it to E+

Indeed, and you have my most humble of apologies. At a minimum, the list should've included The Bags™, monitor+1, and Steph3n. I'm sure there may be others too, but that's why the etc was there. :)

Morning, Box.

We can collectively be The Bag Hags :D

I am off to do the last of my packing. Yes, while Plus1 has been done for days, I'm finishing. I've done one of my better packs. I started Wed evening and had most of it done by 1 a.m. A few things left and I'm good.

Numerology is scary good, yeah. Another discipline that has that power, but less reliably, is Chinese astrology. Sometimes it's dead-on, like in my case. But other times it couldn't be farther from the truth...I have a cousin who is by birth a Fire Tiger, and the book description of him is miles off the mark -- butin the book's defense, he had a very unorthodox upbringing. Had he been raised a little more in the mainstream, the book might have a better shot at being right.

It sat on the backburner for a bit while I focused on my company, but I am have found a solid technology package that will support a great travel web site, including multiple blogs, a wiki, and the like. I am taking my upcoming holidays to test out some of the functionality (mostly Joomla & WordPress at this point), which will include BlackBerry client uploads, email client uploads, Feedburner, Twitterfeed and Google Gears. Once tested, I will be invited those interested to participate and have some fun sharing their knowledge and experiences.

In the mean time, feel free to peek in on us at Mix3 Travel.

Nice. I haven't forgotten either. :D

The shower head thing drives me insane. It's not fun in certain hotels to have to get on my knees to wash my hair.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9630/4.7.1.40 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Passport agency is wonderfully controlled chaos. Kids running around ant whatnot and the agents just cruising along like there is nothing wrong in the world.

Entire time at the window was less than 5 minutes with an incredibly friendly agent. Now a 3ish hour wait until pickup time. ^

Morning Box!

Spent part of last night and this morning watching Gary Vaynerchuk (lookup Wine Library TV) talk at Big Omaha. It fires me up. He talks about Twitter, Facebook, etc. and how everything isn't necessarily about them, but they're important. He uses some explicit language but he is a very good public speaker and answerer of questions.
